Halcyon - A Hotel in Cherry Creek

The bed is very comfy, the rooftop bar and pool are cool, the lobby is hip, the gym is nice, however I give the place four stars for 2 reasons (added a third reason but didn't impact rating). 1) Coffee is available in lobby 24/7, however if you head down there between 4am-5am, there may not be someone there to actually assist and there is no way to alert them you are there. You have to wait or try and make coffees yourself (which they frown upon when they finally show up). 2) Breakfast was included in my rate, however breakfast at restaurant or room service wasn't available until 7:30am, even on weekdays. That doesn't really work for many working people (or people that want to head out for the day early). 3) Doesn't impact my rating, but an annoyance, the toilet in the room had very low pressure when flushed. I assume this could be fixed with a call to maintenance, but I didn't bother

We had a wonderful evening with friends on the rooftop. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our hotel room was very clean and loved the record player! We would recommend the Halycon for your next stay in the Cherry Creek area!

Specifically, one of the ladies at the desk, Kira, went out of her way to make my wife and mine’s anniversary amazing. I bought flowers and she spent time surprising us with an arrangement that was incredible.

The hotel is in a great location. However, they offer resort pass and hotel guest can’t even access the pool because of the resort pass guest. The pool was over crowded and no seats even available to grab drinks at the rooftop restaurant because of resort pass. Also, trash in the elevators and people walking around barefoot and swim attire in elevators and in lobby.

Absolutely loved every aspect of our experience at this boutique hotel! We spent the last night of our honeymoon here. What better way to end an incredible week than to stay here. Customer service is very important to me and my wife. Jordan, Audrey and Tina went out of there way to make us comfortable and feel at home. Included in your stay are many amenities including beer and wine from the front desk. They also have equipment i.e. bicycles, skateboards and games available to use while you stay at the hotel. The hotel has a modern but warm appeal. They are absolutely detail oriented. Every area that I walked into had incredible personality. They have a hot water dispenser on each floor for tea. The roof top pool has a great view and welcoming layout. Our room was amazing. Great design, comfortable mattress and soft sheets. There is a mordern record player in our room with a few records to listen to. The bathroom has nice marble accents. The furniture is perfectly laid out. If you are thinking about a hotel in the area. Definitely stay here. We were at other boutique hotels in the area and were unimpressed. We live around the South Florida area, we both worked in the service industry in college. We are clearly impressed.
