The Art Hotel Denver, Curio Collection by Hilton

I am here for business and could not believe how great the service was. So helpful and even gave me two free drink vouchers because the room view wasn’t the best. I never complained, they just offered. The restaurant staff were very nice and humor. The room is great, clean, and very spacious. I will be back, but will bring the family next time.

Don’t expect any service after 10 PM - you’ll be hungry and thirsty. Turned away at the Fire at 10:01 on a Thursday night. No option for room service. If you’re out in Denver for the evening you want to stay at a different hotel, one that recognizes adults actually stay up past 10 PM.

Really nice hotel! Very clean nice rooms. Great location across form the Colorado Historical Museum. I will give you one big warning... you practically need an engineering degree to figure out how the shower works. But the inexplicable fancy shower aside, the bathroom is very nice, the hotel is beautiful, the restaurant and patio lovely, good fitness area and very nice, comfortable clean rooms. Just watch out for that shower! Yikes! I will still rate the hotel as excellent.

First trip to Denver; spent four nights there with my wife. Valet parked the car then you go up to the 4th floor to the reception desk to check in. I had booked a mountain view suite but for some reason, we were advised that that reservation had been lost. However, we were upgraded to a Capitol Suite, which had a balcony. Score! The main reason we had booked the hotel was due to its proximity to both the Clyfford Still Museum and the Denver Art Museum. Both are within a 2 block radius of the hotel and both are worth a visit. The lobby and ground floors of the hotel have some world class modern art on view, and all of the hallways and rooms have some great pieces too, so art lovers will enjoy the hotel. The location is next to the Civic Center, with the State Capitol nearby. LoDo is a short walk from the hotel, so you're near all of the nightlife. The neighborhood is pretty quiet at night, so sleeping isn't a problem. You do hear traffic in the morning, but nothing too untoward. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Denver and would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Pasque is a restaurant recently opened in the Populus Hotel in Denver quite near our apartment, so of course we wanted very much to try it. It was a success. They have a very small menu, but from what my wife and I experienced it's a very good one. First the welcome was very warm. Then the restaurant itself is very comfortable and pleasant. The service was really excellent and the food very good. They currently have only four main courses, so I can report on two of those, the salmon my wife had and my chicken. Both were very beautifully presented and very good. I would have preferred a bit less spinach and a bit more rice, but it is a very small criticism. My wife loved the salmon and everything which came with it. Dessert was a panna cotta which was excellent. My only concern is that the restaurant was relatively empty on this Monday night and I wonder what the noise level is when it is full. Overall our actual experience was excellent and on that basis I would encourage anyone to give it a try. It's new and it's developing, but in our view developing very well and we shall certainly return

Everything about the property was great except we went for a walk down Broadway and it was a little sketch. Had to deal with several homeless people that were screaming obscenities to the world.
