Up until our check out I would have rated this 5 stars. My husband and I recently stayed for 6 nights, and we were given an upgrade at check in. The hotel is lovely; gym is well equipped and exceptionally large. The breakfasts, included with the room, were surprisingly wonderful - homemade yogurts, granola, fresh fruit and much more. Bourbon tastings nightly were much fun. The restaurant and bar area are fabulous - bartenders remembered our names and drink orders. Housekeeping responded quickly to requests. Surprised not to have a safe or refrigerator in the room, but a small mini fridge was delivered on our first night. Our corner suite had a large bath with double sink vanity, claw foot tub and nice sized shower. The products were from the spa and are top quality. Bath towels are plush. Bed was very comfortable and AC worked perfectly. Bellmen were so friendly and helpful. At check out there were upcharges for our room upgrade, which was given as a courtesy, so I questioned and had them amend - check your bill! Also, I left a jacket in the room and called from the airport to request that they send back. I was told to create a shipping label and email it to them. This proved to be impossible without knowing weight, etc.... and I spent much time attempting to furnish this label for them. After no success, I called the hotel back and asked that they just ship and bill me if necessary. They agreed to charge my card. After spending much money at the hotel, bar, and restaurant, I felt this was petty. It would have gone a long way for them to simply have offered to send to me free of charge from the outset. I would still highly recommend. The Oxford is well placed in terms of location and did exceed expectations.

We really enjoy our times at The Oxford Hotel - a piece of Denver history - very clean comfy rooms - fun Cruise Bar - delicious food @ friendly competent staff - Also, the location cannot be beat!
