Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver

The Sheik Hotel impresses guests with its spacious, quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Its prime downtown location near shops and restaurants is highly praised. Staff delivers exceptional, friendly customer service.

Stayed for our 16th anniversary, it was a return visit after staying the night we were married all those years ago. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean, the room was clean and well decorated. The small touch of a hand written card, wine and chocolate was a very nice gesture. This was a short staycation, we are local to Colorado. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling both local and out of staters. My only constructive criticism was the smell coming from the restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. It smelled of stale beer, right by the elevators. Maybe it’s not like that all the time, but it was yucky.

Front desk representative, David, was excellent His customer service went way above what was required. We also appreciated water, coffee and happy hour that was provided in the lobby. We discovered that they have a shuttle that goes to Red Rocks. This was our second time staying here and look forward to returning.
