Horrible experience. Booked via Expedia…nothing was disclosed on that site. Hotel was under renovation, elevators were malfunctioning. The breakfast “buffet” was $10 for scrambled eggs and potato cake. Parking was $15 and not disclosed. For being in the Tech Center, we expected much more.

We moved our women’s networking meetings to this hotel and they treated us like royalty! The food was amazing, the brand new room is beautifully decorated, and the hospitality of the staff was fantastic! Highly recommend!

This has to be one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The pool was shut down, but that fact wasn't indicated anywhere I could find on the website. Breakfast was typically picked over by 8am, even when there were hours left to go during the service. Even when I got there early, some of the food was cold or stale; I had a bagel that tasted off, and one of the muffins I picked up was as hard as a rock. The quality of the bathroom supplies was poor. The lotion attached to the wall was some of the worst I’ve ever used, and it dried my hands out worse than using nothing at all. I had to make a special trip off-site to get something that’d heal the cracks in my hands after using the lotion supplied by the hotel. The same applies to the tissues and toilet paper, which were like sandpaper. Finally, the design choice of having the towel rack in the shower makes no sense; unless you removed all of the towels from the rack prior to bathing, they were soaked and thus useless for their purpose. The wifi was not password protected, so I felt unsafe any time I tried to get anything done on my laptop. I used the rest of my phone's data for the month just trying to check the schedule for my event. Even when I was on the wifi, it was so slow it reminded me of 90s dialup--was it throttled or something? And if so, why? And why, in this day and age, would you not put a password on the wifi? And then there was the construction. It went on throughout my entire stay, even on weekends, starting sometimes at 7:30 in the morning and lasting until after 6pm. One day they were jackhammering immediately above our room, and I thought the ceiling was going to cave in given how everything was shaking. The noise could even be heard from the downstairs rooms where our event was taking place, and someone mentioned that they weren’t supposed to be doing anything on the sixth floor. It certainly didn’t seem like they were sticking to the seventh. To make things worse, only one elevator was working, and it was constantly filled with workers hauling out old furniture and broken building materials. The floor of this elevator was covered in plaster dust, bits of insulation, and even broken glass at one point. A "helpful" sign on the fifth floor told us to stop waiting for the elevator and just take the stairs--which led outside with no easy access back into the building except for going all the way around to the front. I'm lucky enough to be able-bodied and able to do that, but if I wasn't, I guess I'd just be stuck. Thanks, Hilton! There were holes cut in the ceilings throughout the lobby, and one day the water was shut off for more than six hours so they could replace some pipes. We were told the day before this happened, but when it did, there were workers in a scissorlift constantly blocking the hall to the elevators. This meant that if you needed to get upstairs for any reason, you had to shuffle past and hope you didn’t get hit with anything (according to the w

Everything is always broken, including both elevators. The stairs open straight to the parking lot, and you can’t reenter from outside. It’s locked. With no elevators and no stairs, you can’t get to your room. Some of the front desk staff are nice during check in, but other night staff are not only unhelpful but confrontational, mean spirited, and spiteful. There are many other hotels for the same price in the area. I have never stayed at any other hotel where I couldn’t access my room. Stay anywhere else.

If you’re looking to save money on a hotel stay, consider booking somewhere else. This hotel charges you for everything, even complimentary items like water, which they prominently display on their sign. For instance, they charge you three dollars for a water, despite it being labeled as complimentary. The breakfast is also not included in the email, even though it claims to be included. Overall, it’s the worst experience you’ll ever have. The staff is rude and doesn’t communicate effectively.

The best part of the stay was when I was able to check out, they are quick to take your money and EXTREMELY SLOW at everything else. 1 elevator was out of service, they had offered "complimentary things" when I stayed there but there was nothing of use to me or my friends, there was 1 day that the water was completely SHUT OFF for the WHOLE DAY. 9:30am to about 4:45pm. Did they have water available to drink at the hotel? They had filled 1 water dispenser with water, and a bunch of ice, and about 1/2 way through the day you were waiting for the ice to melt enough to give you enough water to hopefully take your medication with. If not, wait 15 more minutes and maybe you get enough more, maybe you don't. The hotel indicates that there is a pool, they indicate a "renovation" but they do not indicate that the pool is unavailable so that is extremely unfortunate. They indicate that they have a restaurant on-site, beyond the breakfast "buffet" that I tended to on one morning, where the servers did not check to see if there was ANY milk for my cereal,I had to go to a back room where 1 of the servers was playing on their phone to ask for more milk. Seems as though management is asleep at the wheel. They indicate they have a restaurant open on the weekends, but was told this was not the case. I didn't even see anyone during the week, and to have your restaurant and bar open "5-10pm?" What is this, Utah? Between the incessant drilling all day, the construction company using the 1 working elevator to haul their stuff up and down and the dust and grime, and that's when I could use it, and three-quarters of the rest of the time, having to go down the stairs to go outside to go around to the front of the building was also extremely unprofessional. The lack of water, oh I could have a bottle of water for $3 if I wasn't a "Hilton Elite" member, and the prices at the "pantry" also make Vegas' sundries prices seem cheap in comparison. Definitely not a good experience, I expect better from the Hilton brand and there wasn't even an ask by the desk clerk about how my stay was. So, to summarize, the best part of the stay was leaving, the quality of room and room service (there was no room service, even though it is clearly advertised on the website), what would I change and improve? Communication! They did not communicate this well to the people staying at the hotel at all, minus a letter slipped under the door, there was no cleaning staff to clean our room during our stay. I am appalled that this hotel is part of the Hilton brand. If you want to do renovations like this, close the entire hotel down. Do the renovations, then open it back up again. You'd be able to do it in a fraction of the time. Don't be sneaky about it. I'd give it 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

Once again, Kelly and her team are so welcoming. We keep going back, we are delighted that we found this property. The location is perfect for us as we can walk to family and great restaurants in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great nights sleep. Thank you HGI team

Old but clean
The hotel and room was clean and spacious but thin walls made it pretty noisy. Elevators were slow and the pool did not have water in it so it was closed. Also parking and wifi are not free. The bartender was awesome!
