uitstekende bed&breakfast boven een ijssalon. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en comfortabele kamer. Wij moesten helaas 's ochtends vroeg voor aanvang ontbijt al weg, dus kregen we een ontzettend uitgebreid ontbijtpakket om mee te nemen. Uitstekende service!

Fijne ruime kamer met dito douche, keurig onderhouden en schoon. Het bed slaapt prima(helaas geen airconditioning, wat wel nodig was) het ontbijt was heel goed met keuze uit drie soorten ei. Voldoende beleg en prima koffie en sap. Helaas is er in het dorp verder niet veel te doen. Maar dat doet verder geen afbreuk aan de accommodatie.

Na een wandeling terecht gekomen bij de herberg Swaen aan de Brink. Bleek al voorbij lunchtijd te zijn, maar toch werd een heerlijke bagel belegd met zalm, scrambled eggs en salade nog geserveerd. Meer dan verrukkelijk. Ook een vriendelijk plek voor de hond die werd voorzien van water en een koekje. Zeker het aanraden waard.

De kamer was licht en stil en heel schoon. De mensen zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Een grote sanrader. Het ontbijt was heerlijk.

Brinkdorp Den Ham presenteert zich graag als trekpleister voor de toerist......behalve op zondag! Gelukkig zijn er die de toorn van de Christelijke Mannenbroeders trotseren en wél gasten ontvangen. We troffen het. Het terras was uitgebreid tot op het schaduwrijke brinkplein zelf. (met muziek kapel en waterpomp). We maakten een keuze uit de lunchkaart. Daarvoor geldt: kwaliteit voor kwantiteit. Keuze uit soepen, bowls en broodjes. De laatste bestaan uit enkele sneetjes boerenbruin met warm of koud beleg. Ik koos voor de rijkelijk belegde clubsandwich. Uitstekend! Voor de passerende wandelaars en fietsers is er ook een ijscounter.

Prachtige herberg, zeer mooi ingericht met leuke details. Anita en Alain zijn zeer gastvrij. Ze besteden veel zorg aan het ontbijt. Alles lekker vers en mooi opgediend. Al met al een aanrader om hier lekker te vertoeven. Het dorp zelf is heel rustig.
