Very pleasant hotel in the heights of the tea plantations well above Kandy near Deltota. The access is relatively long and the road complicated and in poor condition, but once you arrive you forget all that. Vast British colonial-style residence with beautiful rooms, pretty noise decoration, all that's missing is the English ladies over tea. The very beautiful garden with a beautiful view has a tennis court and a beautiful swimming pool, everything you need for a restful and calm stay between two excursions. The stylishly furnished rooms are comfortable. The equipment works well; no air conditioning but good fans and then we are up high. Ideally placed for excursions to plantations and tea factories; a guide is essential Only downside the hotel is very isolated in the mountains. Meals must therefore be taken at the hotel for $35, which can be high for certain budgets Possibility of packed lunches for picnics; very good breakfast shipments Good stopover recommended
