It's like a B&B, with odd-shaped rooms, a part-time job at the front desk, and no waiters in the restaurant. Fortunately, the people here are of good quality. The hotel is in a good location, close to the old city center.

substandard hotel -- probably needs new management
Hotel is sub-standard. Paint peeling off walls. windows with cracks ot open air. Beds are narrow (80cm) and not very comfortable. Room doors have self-closers that make doors slam. None of this helps with a good night's sleep.
Also quite odd -- reception closes at 23:00. So if you arrive late you need to fine another hotel (Best Western) which is about 12 minutes walk away & not easy to fine. And then back, with your luggage. Many people would feel unhappy navigating this route very late at night.
Also, I didn't see this info anywhere on the website.
Reception lady seemed competent and kind. So the problem is clearly management.

My room was fantastic, bigger than I was expecting. I enjoyed having the tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the hotel was in a very central location within the historic centre of Delft and was on the right side of town to the train station.

Very nice hotel located at a great spot in a lovely city. Delft is so pretty and the hotel is conveniently located to the train station as well as the many sites, including the Vermeer museum and the Thursday all-day market. We had a garden room that was spacious, clean, comfortable and big. The staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful.
