Unfortunately, the hotel seemed quite run-down, and my room in particular had several issues. It felt damp and musty throughout my stay—the carpet was damp, the wallpaper was peeling and appeared water damaged, and both the bathroom and room ceilings showed signs of water damage. There were also black spots on the bathroom ceiling that looked like they could be mold. Given these conditions, I’d recommend avoiding this hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel, (checked out July 17th) and overall, it was a less than average experience. The biggest issue was the shower—the water never got hot, which made mornings particularly unpleasant. The bathrooms themselves felt outdated and definitely in need of renovation. Whatever you do, avoid getting a room near the elevators. They run constantly, and since they’re the only ones in the building, the noise doesn’t stop. I could hear them grinding all night long, which made it hard to get any decent sleep. The air conditioning units were loud too—every time they kicked on, it sounded like a jet engine revving up. Despite those drawbacks, the location was convenient. It's just a very short walk to the train station.

On the positive side: The downtown location is good and there are some nice restaurants nearby, though it also seemed a little desolate after 5 pm. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Parking is convenient, and the check-in experience was efficient. On the negative side: the Wifi would not work for the duration of the stay, and no one at the hotel knew how to fix it. The room was dark, both literally (only a couple of lamps and limited overhead light) and figuratively (carpet, comforter, drapes were all dark) and at times resembled a cave. The toilet would run continuously after use, and the shower nozzle only seemed to have one setting. All of the bath products (wash, shampoo, conditioner) mounted in the shower were empty, which was an unpleasant surprise. The front desk staff, though efficient, weren't particularly friendly or welcoming, and the overall "vibe" at the hotel was oddly subdued. The hotel as a whole is really in need of a complete refresh (new color scheme and room designs especially) as well as a review of service (Wifi and bath products). Can't recommend it in its current condition but it could be great with some basic improvements.
