Hampton Inn by Hilton Wichita Northwest

2nd stay at this location. Great hotel. Clean, well maintained, easy access, trails to walk in area, close to restaurants, etc., great breakfast, friendly staff. The only thing we aren't crazy about is the barn door style door for the bathroom. It slides back and forth closing the bathroom or the closet. It is kind of heavy and has a shallow handle inside to use for closing. Could be a challenge for a child and some adults to close easily.

I contacted this hotel to try and secure a block of rooms for a Wedding. It took 3 phone calls and 1 in-person visit (over the course of 8 days) to get anyone to respond to my request for information. When I did get in contact with them, the rates that they quoted were actually MORE Expensive that what was available on the Hilton Website for the same dates/rooms. Additionally, unlike other hotels that I contacted, they required an Attrition guarantee and would only offer certain types of rooms. They were completely unwilling to work with us. Obviously, we went elsewhere and I would never recommend them for such an event.

I just left a review at the actual Hilton site, but wanted to leave one on here as well on Tripadvisor. I stayed at this Hampton Inn in Wichita and really had a great time! I stayed over Presidents Day weekend, very welcoming and professional at the front desk. The room itself was perfect, breakfast was great as well. Just a really nice and pleasant time! In terms of the area, it's an easy drive to get to this Hampton Inn from ICT Airport, pretty much via Ridge Road. There are many food options all along Maize Road. Also not too far from the downtown area and the Arkansas River Walk, where you can visit the "Keeper of the Plains", which I got to appreciate. I also visited the Sedgwick County Zoo, Wichita State University and The Botanica, all very nice places. Almost forgot to mention the Pracht Wetlands Park, right behind this Hampton Inn! I also drive west out to the Quivira National Wildlife Refuge, very cool, the drive itself was cool. I definitely recommend this Hampton Inn when visiting Wichita! Last time I visited the state of Kansas was in 2014 (Overland Park). It was good to be in Kansas again and especially visit Wichita...!

We stayed here before but this time was the worst. One of the first things we noticed when we walked in is a dirty bathroom. No toilet paper on the roll. No conditioner in the bathroom. The sink was dirty and there was hair on there and it had not been wiped down. I always bring disinfecting with me. So that was one of the first things I did. I'm really disappointed. Cleanliness one of the things I really look for. There was only one garbage can in the entire room. And they can't even provide a decent dresser for you to put your clothes in. I expect more from Hampton. Because I pay a little bit more because I want a few luxuries. The only good thing I can say is the breakfast was hot. If you're part of the hilton organization act like it.

Picked this hotel due to their location. Room was nice. Received a room that had a door for an adjoining room, thus very little soundproofing between rooms. We could hear the people in the adjoining room talking and got up really early and started in again. The room above us must have had a herd of elephants in it as you could hear them stomping around in their room. Towels were on the skippy side. We didn’t try any of the breakfast items. Did get coffee a couple of times. If I’m back in the area will select a different place to stay.

Loved the location and the very comfortable room. Good parking area and well lit. Enjoyed the adjacent walking path and environs. Very nice breakfast. The breakfast attendant had a great personality and did an exceptional job. I think we've found our new favorite place to stay while in Wichita. Definitely recommended.

Every one of the employees we spoke with was OUTSTANDING. Superb hospitality-related attitudes and excellent service. The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was good. Parking lot was well lit. I felt safe while there. The walking path outside was lovely and the view from the room was so pretty. Highly recommend!

This is a spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel with a frig and plenty of space. The coffee quality is mediocre and there is no creamer (other than powder) in the room. My main quibble was the single skimpy towel provided. Yes, I could get dressed and go downstairs to get more towels or call and wait to take my shower, but I shouldn't have to do either. Please upgrade the quality and number of bath towels in your hotel!

Stayed with family while out west. Hotel seemed to be pretty new. Very clean and well kept. Pool was solid, had a little patio area outside with a fire pit which was nice. Breakfast was pretty good, standard stuff. Comfortable room and very nice staff. Would stay again.
