If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the worst possible customer service we have ever experienced. We called this hotel in May to make a reservation for a wedding today. In may, my husband was on the phone for minimum 30 minutes to book a room with the wedding block. We thought it was reserved, but when looking for the confirmation email and realized we never received it. We called the night before to verify we had a room, and they said yes it was booked under a different name but no problem. Upon arrival to the hotel they hand us the invoice and we are being charged for the deluxe suite which is almost double what the single room we requested. Also, they had the wrong name, address, email, and phone number. The only correct thing they had was our credit card information. They then say they have no other rooms for the night. We asked to have the room at the wedding block rate and they said no. We then asked to just cancel, and we would make the long drive home. The front desk person AND manager told us they could not cancel our room because we supposedly booked through “Wyndham” and not them. Even though this is owned by Wyndham. Upon reviewing the call history from May, we did in fact call the Delafield location. He gave us no explanation and told us to call a different number. They were rude and basically sent us on our way, but dont worry they didn’t forget to charge our card. So then on the way to the wedding we tried calling Wyndham 800 number and proceeded to get transferred 7 different times. On the 7th transfer, the Wyndham reservation people said we will transfer you to someone who can cancel the room. We are then transferred BACK to the same rude front desk people at the Delafield Americinn. If I knew we were going to be transferred after 45 minutes of sitting on the phone we would have stayed in person. To top things off, while asking the front desk to please just cancel the room and refund us as we will not be staying at this horrible place the man hung up on me. I also was asking the name of the receptionist and manager and they refused until my second call back. I called back and they didn’t answer. So then I called on my husbands phone and of course they answer and say they cant help us. The manager claimed to not know anything about the situation but proceeded to say we can’t cancel or get a refund. The front desk worker and manager at this location on 6/28/2025 at around 5-5:15 were rude, unhelpful, and should not be allowed to work in the hospitality industry. So now we are expected to pay a cancellation fee of basically the price of the room. Except, I don’t even know if this is true because they could never confirm a cancellation. NEVER use this hotel for your wedding blocks or any other time.

Nice pool and hot tub

The property shows signs of age/use in some areas...on positive side, we stayed in one of two rooms with a "jettable tub" / whirlpool...made a very nice / impressive room at a price that was reasonable. The breakfast contained hot items which are an upgrade from many "continental" breakfasts at other hotels. Staff was friendly & responsive & happy to meet requests.

Friendly staff upon check-in and out. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Although bathroom was a bit small it was clean with some of the hottest water I’ve had in a long time at a hotel. Would recommend and stay here again.

The breakfast was bad. Coffee in breakfast room and lobby were both cold. Only 4 coffee creamers. Breads and bagels were nearly gone. Eggs were cold. We ended up having to ask for coffee and ended up eating only yogurt.

Mostly good. Breakfast was in need of refills which never happened.
