My wife and I have stayed at several Marriotts all across the world over the years. The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Atlanta Northlake is old and outdated. Rooms are small and they had a bad smell as soon as you walked in the door. The beds are extremely unconformable. The staff was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I would recommend that you go out to eat breakfast. The food that they offer is sub par at best. This Marriott is by far not meet the same standards as most of Marriott’s.

Only if you’re desperate
Had to speak to 5 different people to get an answer about early check in. Everything was broken, including the microwave. All of the complimentary dishes were dirty. Trash in the hallways and everywhere outside. Fire alarm randomly going off late at night with no urgency to turn it off. Would never stay here again.

Checked out after our first day. Room was dirty, curtain ripped, hallway and rooms smelled bad. We found food in our fridge, I told the front desk and got a garbage bag and placed the food in it and put it outside our room. When management came the next day they told me I have no proof of the food being in the Fridge.
I use to love staying at this property but it went straight down hill.

The place was roach infested and staff were rude. The location is very convenient but that is the only thing going for it. I lived in Louisiana for 20 years, and I can accept a bit of untidiness or poorly trained staff if it comes along with some warmth and good will. No such redemption here.
