Zostel Mussoorie

The rooms are clean and the bedding is super comfortable. The staff was very helpful and helped me out with suggestions on what to do and where to go. They also organised activites throughout my stay which were very engaging and fun. Ravi, Saloni and Pankaj were helpful throughout.

This was our first experience staying in zostel and I am extremely delighted that we made this decision of staying and experiencing the place. We stayed in a deluxe cottage. It was comfortable. The food is amazing. They have amazing dining and common area space. The staff is amazing and courteous. And offcourse the walk to secret water fall is so serene. We took a rented scooty from Library chowk and the drive scenic. We are definitely visiting back.

We were a group of cousins looking for a hostel experience for a workation in Mussoorie. The Zostel checks all the boxes that are needed for a workation! High speed wifi, good connectivity across the property and a great view! Although, there were times when the Wi-Fi dropped but it was manageable. Firstly about the property - it is a mix of private rooms and dorms. The private rooms have well kept furniture and basic amenities. All the private rooms have a great view of the valley as well. Since this place sees harsh winters, they provide good quality heaters and geysers too. The property has ample of open spaces for a quaint working environment. It boasts a collection of 4-5 working areas which turn into great evening joints post sunset! It also has a common room with probably enough to keep 20-30 people engaged at once! The cafe at the property is good enough to give any cafe a run for their money! Their burgers and cold coffee are to die for. They provide a range of great meals. Although, being a hostel, be ready to let go of room service or on call requests. From drinking water to food, you need to do it on your own, which in itself brings back hostel memories! Secondly, the property is well situated. It is 9 kms from the mall road inside a valley which provides a serene view. There are minor waterfalls which are also great treks in themselves. A small stream just runs beside the property which is a great add on! Finally, about the community manager and staff. Sehar, the community manager made sure that all the residents of the property remained engaged. She organized daily events ranging from treks to walks, game nights to movie nights! This is very important in a property like the Zostel where there are solo as well as group travelers. It is also a challenging job to keep every kind of traveler happy and Sehar was great at it! Ankit, the cafe manager and Milan the property manager made sure to help us with every request and always did it with a smile. Price wise, this property is great as with the kind of amenities and facilities the property offers, the price is just apt. In case of long stays, they provide great discounts too. In summary, this is a great place with a great price point. Worth it!

I have not yet visited. By my concern is the cancellation policy on website which is shown at the time of booking does not talk about credit usage terms. It just says that credit can be used in "any future date" and nothing else, so it does not tell that if there is any kind of limitation. But when we cancel the booking, they give us credit usage terms and that has many limitations. So my question to zostel is why they are intentionally hiding the credit usage terms, if they are talking about credits in cancellation policy. Why they are misleading the guest. Is it because, zostel know that if they mention the credit usage term while booking, there would be less booing fron the guest who are booking in very much advance and also zostel know that because of credit usage term, most of the guest will lose it eventually without availing the services and zostel will keep the guest's money. Why zostel is not transparent in their policies? Attached images are screenshots of policy what we see at the time of booking and missing credit usage term what they communicate only after guest do the cancellation.

Beautiful for property with more beautiful staff.. this one is my first solo trip & I think i stayed in one of the best hostel... location is very beautiful between lush green mountain.. small waterfall in the zostel is so refreshing.. food is good .. in whole everything is perfect

awesome experience with zostel plus games karaoke party dj young crowd whole vibe is there beautiful tree house cozy with little room overhead to main room a perfect escape with little trekking to near by places small fall is there overall lovely only problem is location difficult to find😃
