A beautiful serene place located on the side of a hill. You get excellent views of the surrounding hills and at night you get to gaze in wonder at a clear starry sky. The cottages were very comfortable and the food was simple and delicious. The staff were super friendly, helpful and polite and were always ready to provide tea. They also arranged a bon fire for us. The one downside could be that the last 400 metres to reach the place after you get off the tarmac road is very rough and some people may find it difficult to traverse with a low floor car.

Been there last week. What a place to be. We took the valley facing room second layer. The aesthetics and integration of plants, flowers are wonderful. We enjoyed every bit of it, he 30 km route to Viratkhai. However, the 500 mtr access to the property is little challenging. The staff helped us to get there. If you like quite place, abundance of nature, No light pollution, No sound pollution. Then Consider this place as your right fit. Dont expect luxury.

So starting with it is situated 40 kms away from Chakrata at a place called Biratkhai. It is super secluded but very safe place. they have roughly 11 rooms and a dining area. One has to keep thiis in mind that once you reached this hotel, it is very difficult to go to a market which is 5-7 kms above so practically you have to trek. The major disadvantage of this property is its approach from the main road. looks like they have started a hotel withput thinking how guest will evacuate from this place. Only big car can go down the hill to reach to the hotel. Also while checkin out my car got struck on the stone debris of slope of the hill. So have to practically trek 400M on the slope with kids which was very annoying. This place is big no for elderly guests
