Horrible...horrible. I was going to Dehradun after 25 years and wanted to experience the goodness of nostalgia. 25 years ago, Madhuban was the best in town and so I checked in, I spite of my friends booking for me in ISRO guest house. Dirty, rusting handles, broken shower, hard bed, unclean sheets, faulty switches and what's more, no water in the toilet and especially in the flush. Additionally, the noise of repairs going on. I would never go again. I won't recommend to anyone. I returned with a broken dream of not re-experiencing a pleasant past that I used to cherish

Never Ever Madhuban Dump
Very poor maintenance , the bathrooms have flush which never temoves poop n keeps dripping , the bathroom floors have no mats so its a watery mess , the electrical sockets dont work , poorly trained staff , the front desk jokers are totally inept n so are the managers .

A very homely atmosphere and peaceful vibes... Very warm yet professional staff ... All in all a very HERITAGE feel... This being the FIRST hotel in Dehradun... A 45 years long legacy SanGeeta who received us and made arrangement was welcoming, helping and quick to get things in Order to make us comfortable

A pretty, spick and span budget hotel at a stone's throw from the beautiful Dal Lake. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. They provide you with electric warmer blankets (under the bedcovers) that should suffice even for most cold days. The bathrooms are clean. The entire hotel team are very kind, helpful and courteous. Totally recommend!

Staff are very friendly and coperative. Food is very good. Well maintained. Excellent location. Service staff are good and always time. They make extra effort to make your stay comfortable. And it was a wonderful stay. Everything is good about the hotel.

I stayed here for a few days on business in April. I'm not going to say that this hotel was amazing luxury, because it isn't, and thats not the point. What it is, is a great hotel, located centrally with amazing staff. Everybody was so friendly, polite and attentive, it really made my stay feel so good. Two really nice parts of my stay; breakfast - the team working there in the morning remembered everything I liked and by the end of my stay I didn't even have to make an order :). And second - my favourite part - the cosy little bar serving me my daily medicine :) would I stay again - absolutely!

Really not a good stay. Key card kept stop working and needed refreshing every single day, toilet flush broken, construction work all the time, including Sundays (not outstanding any religious limitations there should be at least one quiet day), fire alarm seemed to be tested at 8am and on for ages, whilst meeting a colleague in the lobby they insisted on hoovering the carpets really close to us even after we asked them to give us some space, and then there was a party going on for 3 hours with lots of power interruptions (probably because the party was using the whole supply for the hotel). Not a fun experience, not a 4 star place and most definitely not worth the 4 star charges.

Thanks to MsSangeeta Rana Front office Manager. Mr. *** Singh Chief Engineer for urgently solving the hot water problem in my shower and Mr Mehtab for serving be breakfast even at 12 noon. These personalised care make these privately owned and managed hotels better than the popular chain hotels.
