"Nice dinner, definitely get the chargrilled pork as main, juicy and tender, the sauce worked perfectly with the rice and the meat! I was a bit disappointed that I have to leave early and missed the breakfast to get to the airport, however they prepared me a onigiri bento breakfast to bring along, truly amazing and appreciated."
"The matcha welcome at the hotel is very warm. The location is some distance from the main street, 10-15 minutes walk, which is almost the distance to Hell Valley. See the first picture for the size of the room. The table is moved away, and the mats in the cabinet are covered with tatami mats. The hotel's open-air hot spring pool is very small and felt cramped for three people. The indoor hot spring pool is larger, so I think it is not cost-effective. The breakfast is average, the dinner is good, but if it includes two meals, it will bring back a little value for money😂🤣"

"It is a good value.
The hotel has been renovated and the bathrooms are very nice. The room itself feels older, which is not bad, but the floor is really cold. There is a big gap between the door and the floor, so there is always a cold draft across the floor. The TV is also very small.
The good thing is that the coffee shop in the lobby is cozy, the pastries are delicious and there is a fireplace! The hotel also gives the access to the Grand Bath in Dai-Ichi Takimotokan"
"I personally like this kind of Japanese-style hotel very much. It feels like home. The lobby welcomes guests very warmly and they will wipe their suitcases carefully. The breakfast and dinner are very delicious. The hot spring ♨️ is traditional Japanese and very healing. It is worth coming again."
"The hot springs, services and facilities are first-class! Breakfast and dinner are included, all of which are delicious. Various meats and seafood are good, and rice is also delicious, but the space is limited and you can't eat too much. It's not far to walk to Jigokudani, and you can reach it on foot."
"Hotel includes dinner and breakfast. Dining is at the ”food hall”, buffet style. Not including the study drinks yen 350. There is a kids corner on the right when entering the cashier counter. The room was on. Japanese style. Maybe due to the environment, the room looks tired. All mental parts were badly rushed in toilet. Car parking is behind the hotel up the hill. Walking to the hell valley is a good 10-15 walk up hill. Could just drive up and park for yen 500.
Overall the place was OK, just old feeling"
"The location is very good, the service quality and food quality are very good
First class landscape
But there are too many unruly Chinese and Koreans,
Frequently getting hit in the elevator and not queuing for food.
The bathroom has a general exhaust and smoky feeling"

Amazing
KkonatahuThe location is good but not perfect. There is some distance from the bus stop. So if you are traveling with any suitcase, it will be some challenge.
The room is great. It has plenty of space and can easily open any size of suitcase. The bed is very soft. We even have a bath tub inside our room. BTW, it also has a free mini bar with some selections of cold soft drinks.
The staffs are very friendly. The front desk staff speaks good English. They also help us carry our large to our room.
The food is great and very authentic.
The onsen is fantastic. Both the bottom one and the top one have very good view.
The only thing I am not 100% happy with is the price. If you can book a room from their official website, it will be cheaper. Trip did charge some premium. However, it is very hard to book this hotel during the peak season on their official website . So I can understand that and can’t complain too much about that. But if Trip can match the price, then I will be even more satisfied.
MMing Ying YThoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Loved the Japanese vibes & 5 star hospitality. Room is spacious and well maintained. Highlight of our room is the outdoor bath and kaiseki dinner to complete our Japanese ryokan experience. Breakfast was semi buffet style which was slightly lacking in choices & taste wise in my opinion. Location within walking distance to main street and hell’s valley.
Sshelllllyyyi’ve had such a good stay at dai-ichi takimotokan, it was value for money!
i was researching for a tattoo-friendly onsen at noboribetsu and came across this place! there’s no official guideline against people with tattoos - however it’s still advised to cover them up if it’s possible! spoke to the reception and i was casually told that it might be a better idea to go during non peak hours to avoid too many local japanese as a form of respect. did that and i didn’t have any bad experience at all tbh. tons of options during breakfast and it was delicious as well.
GGuest UserThe Japanese-style room we booked is quite big, and we ate in the tatami area. The hotel is just opposite the bus station. The whole town is relatively small. There are 711, coffee shops, ramen shops, Jigokudani, etc. walking in.
The hotel lobby is relatively small and looks a bit old overall. Basic hygiene is OK. (There are also tatami beds in the closet, but I saw hair on them, so I suggest you order the Western-style one)
Includes breakfast and dinner, dinner is average, you can order other dishes. (The grilled crab legs I ordered were average, and the grilled beef was not bad). I didn't eat breakfast.
*At a price of 2k+, it is recommended to check other hotels early, because I decided to travel at the last minute and booked late, so I don't recommend it.
Wwivina siahWe chabged room from the suite with private onsen to a normal twin room. Ofcourse a big difference in amenities and meals. But overall still amazing stay. Important that room is clean and I manage to try the public onsen, it was huge but sadly not much of a view for the outdoor one.
Extremely near the bear park, walking distance, and near the busstop to go to Jidai Village
Overall great stay.
AAndersonRossFront desk attendant was very friendly and polite - please be aware that you may have to knock on the glass front door if you do not yet have your access PIN as it is often locked. Small lockers for luggage (backpack size) are available free of charge - you will either require a small padlock or purchase one for just 100yen in the machine next to the lockers. In accordance with its price, the room furnishings are of simple wooden construction but very spacious inside and have a nice natural scent of pine as you sleep 😌. Plenty of shared access amenities such as guest fridge, freezer, microwave, etc. Location is ideal as it is next to JR noboribetsu station, from which you can pay roughly ¥650 for a round trip (12 minutes each way) bus ticket to Hell valley (jigokudani). Incredible alternative to a stay in the large hotels up there for travellers on a budget, particularly as most hotels will sell access to their onsens to non-guests for around ¥2,000!
HHei LamHotel room was clean. Very nice sulphur onsen. Many noisy tourists. Outdoor parking so you need to remove snow by yourself. Nice buffet dinner and breakfast. Very close to the tourist spot nearby.
YYUEI lived in Noboribetsu and this atrium, and I still prefer this one. If I go to Noboribetsu next time, I will stay there again. On the mountain Noboribetsu, pick-up service at 2:00 and 4:00 pm (pick-up at JR station) is available after booking with the hotel. The hotel is good, just don't like their public slippers (woven straw uppers). If you don't wear socks, you will feel a little sticky, but so is the flower atrium. The open-air style of the house is very good. It is relatively large. You can take a look at the snow on the pine trees while soaking in the hot spring. It feels very natural and much stronger than the open-air style of the flower atrium. I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel, but it was really bad. This may be my own problem. I am not used to eating. The ice cream at the kiosk downstairs is delicious, you buy it every day, and it's easy to buy water. There is a small park in front of the hotel, the snow is very thick, you can play with snow, and there is no one. It is clean and very comfortable. A 15-minute walk from the hotel is the Noboribetsu ski resort. It is very convenient to play snow and there are very few people. In short, it is quite satisfactory.
EExplorer boyI stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room with tatami mats and a futon. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a spectacular view of snow and mountain. For those who prefer modern comforts, the resort also has Western-style rooms with private onsen tubs.recommended 👍
