Pebble Cove Farm

There’s a quiet kind of charm here. Goats and pigs wandering through the grass. A horse or two that seem to know they belong. A little beach that catches the light just right. Open space that feels private — like it waited just for you. I’ve photographed weddings here. Every time, I leave reminded: Ease and joy don’t have to be chased. We felt so happy to have found this gem on Orcas Island right in the heart of Eastsound. The views are stunning and the townhouse has everything you could possibly need, including a full kitchen, gas fireplace, dishwasher, coffee maker, bathtub, lovely decor, nice beds, comfortable furniture, and even the grounds are gorgeous. They had great books and board games. And it’s pet-friendly so we brought our two big dogs. They even left snacks for us and treats for our dogs on the counter. We stayed in the Madrona Townhouse which is a three-bedroom, two full bathroom unit with queen beds in each bedroom. Just a half-block away are good restaurants, bakeries, art galleries, and fun shops. Lydia, who is the owner, was lovely on the phone and thank goodness she recommended that we get a ferry reservation. That saved us time coming and going and made our weekend getaway to the islands more convenient. We’ll be back!

The rooms at the farm really look nice but you basically have to live out of your suitcase as there is no place to empty your bags. We only saw a handful of animals and they were in a corral. There is what they call pirate island but getting there involved rowing out and I only saw one boat. It is really cool once the sun goes down and the wind comes across the water. Bring jackets.

This was our first time staying here. We stayed in a family suite. Great porch and view of the cove! We will definitely be back again. It is such a magical place! Great: Dog friendly! Very quiet but a short drive to town. Eastsound is the nearby town for lunch, dinner, pet store, shopping, grocery store etc. Very clean in our room and on the property. We loved walking around the garden, visiting the farm animals and walking on the cove/beach area. We had an issue with the lock on our door. We text the number they gave us and we had someone come right away to help us. Great kitchenette with everything you need. Very comfortable bed, bedding and towels. We used the fireplace and it was very cozy. Books, games are provided if you get bored. There was a map of the property to help us to see where we could walk around. Farm animals are very friendly (pigs, pony, chickens and goats). Amazing views of the cove. They provide things to do (boating, canoes, fire pit, swing set etc. Suggestions: The only thing we would make a suggestion about would be the bathroom light and fan. There is only one switch the operates the fan and light so every time you use the bathroom the noisy fan is constantly on. If your spouse is a light sleeper and you need to be in the bathroom at night etc. just know the fan will be on all the time.

Fabulous location, excellent hosts, easy and comfortable accommodations. Kids loved the large yard, rowboat, island and animals. Parents loved the ambiance, happy children and relaxation afforded and such a special place.

Very peaceful and unique setting with wonderful views and access to the cove. The organic vegetable garden is amazing, pick your veggies and cook up an amazing meal. However, the focal point of any visit to Pebble Cove is the animals. You will have the opportunity to make some new friends and appreciate the sanctuary. We spent time with them every day, they have distinct and friendly personalities that most people will cherish long after your visit. Our room was charming and well kept with direct views of the water. The compound is one of the nicest on the island. We will definitely be back for another visit.
