I was visiting Decorah for a job interview. This was a nice clean room and well kept property, good friendly service. Breakfast wasn't special at all, but very common for a basic complimentary breakfast with semi-unhealthy stuff.

Place is really easy to find off the highway and well located to a grocery store, Wal-mart and several places to eat within a 5 min drive. Older hotel but clean. Didn't try the breakfast but it is available from 6:30 - 9:30am each day. TV had a lot of channels on it and wi fi worked pretty well.

I've stayed in this hotel before and it was clean and had reasonable rates, however, this time, the TV didn't work, there was mold in the tub, and the toilet was leaking in back. Front desk attempted to fix the TV situation but were not successful. I'll be booking elsewhere next time.

This hotel is horrible along with the management. Rain poured into my room through the smoke detector completely soaking the bed and floor. The management lied repeatedly and was uncooperative about the situation. Decorah is a beautiful town. What a shame this hotel is allowed to be in business.

Worst stay ever—surly staff, filthy conditions, and a leak that flooded the bed! Everything about this property is sub-par. Staff lied about management and was hostile in rectifying the situation. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Mirrors dirty, refrigerator leaked onto carpeting, shower head in tub but no way to turn shower on, when drain opened for bath water to go down, brown matter came up from the drain. Breakfast food not replenished/refilled. Bread, bagels & muffins looked old & stale. Breakfast bagel tasted old. No one staffing front desk, even after hitting the “bell” to summon someone. Have stayed here before, was marginal but never had this bad of an experience. Won’t be staying here ever again. Will camp in a tent before staying here.

I rented the suite here. When we went to go to bed, we discovered the bedding had not been changed and found long hairs on pillow cases and sheets not clean. There were fresh stains on the bed topper and blood stains on white comforter. They came and changed the sheets but who makes beds up in hotels with out changing bedding? Will never stay here again. It was an expensive Super 8. I expected more in Decorah Iowa.

Even if this is the only hotel available, sleep in your car. VERY dirty, toilets covered in mold/mildew. Couldn't even see yourself in the mirrors. No hot water in shower. Floors were sticky. Smelled like old cigarette smoke.

The rooms were damp, humid, musty smelling. The Coffee pot did not work. The beds were smaller than queen sized. The bathroom drains needed cleaned, they drained very slow. The staff was friendly but did not speak English very well.
