I really applaud the design of this hotel concept. The cottages ring a lovely prairie garden and the extensive grounds indicate future developments. All good. We had a large 6 person unit because the hotel was full. Given the small terraces and design we looked forward to socializing with other guests. Surprise. The rest of the cabins were rented out to construction crews who gathered nightly around grills pulled together and drank beer. Not loud gatherings but not conducive to socializing. The finish of our unit was cheap and fixtures will soon be falling off the walls. The first floor bathtub was full of spiders and the place was already scruffy. The views vary considerably when you are not facing the center. Our terrace looked over the highway and the hotel next door. So why a 4 star? The owners are innovating hotel space that feels very comfortable with the surroundings. I like that and maybe fellow travelers will too.

This was the second time we have stayed at Bluffside Gardens. We have enjoyed both visits. We have stayed in the large cabin #6 and now this visit #4 since we were a smaller group. It is a great place to have a larger place to visit than hotel rooms. This was for a college class reunion so we could stay together and have space. It is very clean and has many amenities. The staff is accommodating and responsive. The only thing I would change was to have one more chair that could be moved. We had to use a barstool which was not very comfortable. If you are looking for a fun place to be together this is the place to go! Thank you Brent and all!

Enjoyed the stay mostly at your place. The place was very clean except the first floor shower curtain liner was nasty. The second floor bedroom could use something to hang clothes etc. first floor bedroom could use something to set suitcases on instead of floor. Guess the place was a little too sparse for our taste. Could have used some area rugs, wall hangings etc. Great little kitchen except there was only 1 -9in skillet, no pots or pans or bowls to cook with. Not able to cook there. Great location and yard work !
