Quality Inn has a seamless check-in process and a diligent housekeeping team that ensures a comfortable stay. The breakfast, although simple, was a pleasant way to start the day. A commendable budget-friendly choice for travelers, I recommend Quality Inn for its overall service and value.

Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Maybe the worst. The Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Close to shopping and restaurants. Decent continental breakfast choices and good coffee. The Cons: A dated hotel well past its prime. The exhaust fan in our bathroom was literally hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom sink was cracked and in poor repair. Our duvet cover was ragged and full of holes. The mattress was worn out and uncomfortable. Had we not been exhausted, it would have been untenable. People sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Slipshod room cleaning with little attention to detail. Towels and washcloths so old that even when clean, they look dirty. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel for any reason, in fact, it is a property to be avoided. Had we not experienced a problem with our reservation at another hotel, we would not have considered this hotel. For us, it is a one and done. We will never stay here again.

I normally book this hotel because the staff is very nice and accommodating and the hotel is clean. This was a quick move as I had to switch hotels. There was a roach in the bathroom when I went to shower. When I left to checkout, there was no one at the front desk for 15 min. For me to let them know what I found. I also got bit on the arm by something.

We booked a room with 2 beds, and they assigned a room with a king size bed. They changed us to a room that we could not use, because the urine smell made our eyes water. They stated that was the only room available. There were guests sitting at an outside table, singing, and smoking, (Not sure what they were smoking) and giving us funny looks. We definitely did not feel safe. The desk clerk was very professional.

One of THE WORST stays EVER!!!! Disgusting, dirty laminate floors…floors obviously are not mopped and cleaned properly as proven by the bottoms of our feet black from dirt! Not sure what was on the outside of the refrigerator and I’m not sure I want to know! WARNING: don’t stay here!

Gross! The carpet looked like it was 25 years old. It was torn up between the room and the bath and carpet tacks were exposed. The room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a year—there was debris all around the edges. There was a dirty upholstered chair, a lamp with a stained lampshade, and a stained comforter. We were given two towels which were haphazardly tossed up on a rack, one washcloth and one hand towel, no bathmat. When we asked the front desk for a bath mat, washcloth, and hand towel, we were told the dryer was broken. The outside entrances had a lot of construction guys just hanging around, grilling out and drinking, they must have been temporarily living there. It just felt uncomfortable and a bit unsafe. This is the worst place we’ve stayed in probably 35 years. We foolishly prepaid online or we would have left.

We chose this hotel to use points. However I wish I had just paid for a room. We asked for a lower floor room but were told the hotel was completely full - which was a lie because we saw many empty rooms. No elevator so we had to make multiple trips upstairs. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The furniture was damaged. The remote was broken. Definitely needs updating, cleaning, and painting.

Went to go to bed at 10pm. Bed was broken (it was a king) and had to sleep on one side of the bed that was not tilted down. Went to the front desk, and was told they had no other rooms (don't know if the hotel was full or if they didn't have available clean rooms)...Woke up at 2am to a roach crawling over my head. Went to the bathroom and killed a roach. Was told a manager would be available in the morning. No manager at check out. (9am) Got the front desk person to go to the room/check it out. Vanessa was disgusted by the roaches and gave an oh my GOD....the carpet was so dirty, that you could not go barefoot. They should have paid ME to stay there. Waiting for a canned response. By the way, the first room they gave me stunk like cigarettes, so they gave me another room, with roaches. Who would even want to eat their "breakfast" with roaches?!

The room was moderately clean, the paint in the bathroom was peeling in several 2 or 3 inch sections. The wall moldings were off on several places, there were condoms in the nightstand, still in the package, but still. Felt like a room you might get by the hour. The sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean other than the paint, we slept and got our quickly the next morning, we have relatives nearby but will never stay at Quality in Decatur again.
