Residence Inn Decatur Emory Area

I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott, thanks to the truly outstanding staff. A special shoutout to Laurie at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help me during a stressful day. I was having major connectivity issues and needed to schedule a pick-up—Laurie kindly offered to use her own Lyft account to assist me. She absolutely rescued me that day, and I’m so grateful for her kindness. Corey at the front desk is consistently pleasant and welcoming, and Jarita made the reservation process smoother and more comfortable, especially considering our visit was for a medical reason. Their warmth made all the difference. Yes, there were small maintenance things—like a garbage disposal that wasn’t working—but honestly, they were easy to overlook because the entire team was so genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and smells so fresh, which only added to the comfort of our stay. We’ll definitely return. Exceptional service like this is rare—and deeply appreciated.

Mattress was awful. Property is clean and well maintained. Staff encountered were not friendly.

Breakfast was good but not being able to adjust temperature in room when the weather was in the teens made the stay horrible for me and my wife, who are senior citizens in their mid sixties
