I was careless when I booked the room, thinking that HILTON GARDEN INN was the name of the hotel. Only when I checked in did I realize that HILTON GARDEN INN and HILTON are completely different things. Ctrip’s 4-diamond logo is misleading. The hotel lobby and various facilities are at best the standard of a fast hotel. It can be benchmarked against IBIS and Home Inns.
The hotel we stayed in this time only opened in August, and the facilities are very new. The service staff was very nice and prepared a sofa bed for the children. The towels are also extremely soft and you can tell they are new as soon as you use them. But on the day we checked in, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell. It's not improper cleaning, it's probably a sewer problem. I thought the hotel was an old building renovated, but on the day I checked out, I learned that the building was newly built. The breakfast provided by the hotel is of good quality although there are not many choices.
If 5 points is a perfect score, I would give it 3 points. 1 point is for service, 1 point is for breakfast, and 1 point is for location.
