When I arrived at the hotel, I saw that it was a five-star hotel. It used to be a four-star hotel. It should be the best hotel in Debrecen. I booked a king-size room, which cost about 600-700 RMB per day. I checked in near Christmas, and the hotel lobby was decorated with a Christmas tree. There is also a warm fireplace. The bed, cabinets and other furniture in the room are all solid wood retro style. There is a refrigerator, safe, mini dining bar, laundry bag, shoe horn, shoe polish, bedside table and a Bible. The hotel staff are warm and polite, and the reception can speak English. There is a billiard room, a baby room, and a bar on the first floor. The breakfast is simple and exquisite. There is a special elevator for guests that requires a room card to use, but no toothbrush or toothpaste is provided. The hotel is close to the University of Debrecen, with a large forest park in the middle. It is open and has many tall old trees, lakes, and wild ducks. It is really beautiful in clear weather!
