We arrived at this hotel around 12-13 pm, the room was not ready, we waited for about 20 minutes.. They brought welcome cocktails. The room they gave us was not the one we booked, but oh well.. The air conditioner is noisy on the ground floor.. There is a party near the room.. The area is full of caterpillars.. There is a river nearby, which means the mosquitoes bite like wild ones.. The pool is cold because it is in the thickets. .. Sun beds with ants and water after the rain.. We didn’t see them being cleaned.. The territory is monitored endlessly, the paths are swept.. It’s a bit noisy in the room and the hotel. There was hot water. Breakfast is standard Sri Lankan without any surprises... We took chicken soup at the hotel and only water. The staff is friendly.

The hotel owner’s little baby is so cute. She kept asking me to play with her. When I went to stay here in Yala Park, the jeep driver the hotel found was great👍🏻Awesome👍🏻

In het hotel wordt gebouwd/verbouwd. Onze kamer 204 zat er gelijk naast, waardoor je over dag geen rust hebt en je geregeld te pletter schrikt door iets wat valt. De kamer zit bovenaan een trap, dus pas op als je naar buiten gaat. De kamer ziet er netjes uit, al kraakt het bed enorm en zijn de stopcontacten wat gammel, mijn wereldstekker viel eruit. Bij het bed zit maar aan een kant een stopcontact. De badkamer is een drama. De waterkraan bij de wastafel zit los en geeft geen of spuit water. Het toilet maakt enorm lawaai als het reservoir vult en de douchekop moet ontkalkt worden. Verder heeft de douche geen tussenschot, dus een zeiknat toilet als je de douche gebruikt. Het pluspunt van dit hotel is de manager die alles voor je doet en zelfs een korting gaf. Die heeft er voor gezorgd dat we het t****e bolletje hebben gegeven. Het ontbijt is goed en uitgebreid en ook het eten op de kaart is goed. Er is een mooi helder zwembad.

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights for the Yala safari. The hotel has such helpful & friendly staff especially Tharindu & Shara. The rooms are spacious and clean, & the pool is excellent for a midday dip. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend to anyone else who is staying in.

Our well furnished upstairs room was fitted out with a nice balcony providing a view over the pool and a garden which had inviting seating areas.. The river lies just at the base of the hotel garden. Our only problem lay in the lack of hot water for a shower in the morning and problem unlocking the door so a little maintenance perhaps needed. The staff were pleasant and friendly, providing the meals enthusiastically. The hotel serves particularly as a base for trips into the National Park.

We stayed in the hotel for a one night. Bathroom smelled really badly. There were insects in the room including on the bed sheets. When we contacted hotel they came and tried to sweep it away from the room… We also booked safari through the hotel. Agreed price was in usd but I had to pay in LKR. I would not come back again.
