As ever the roads around Bilbao are horrible.. but when back on the N634 and the switchbacks of the Bi3950 the hotel is a few short metres on the right, steep car park entrance mind. This is a country hotel with few amenities beyond your room, Restaurante etc. The food was great, if you like steak, ask the chef to show you!! The staff were lovely, good beer frozen Jarra. Modern bedroom and usual Spanish breakfast.

Wat een fijne plek met zeer gastvrij personeel. We werden erg warm ontvangen en men doet er alles aan om je thuis te laten voelen. Er wordt regelmatig gevraagd of alles naar wens is en in orde. De kamers, voorzien van rolluiken en airco, zijn ruim, licht en schoon met een goed bed en heerlijke ruime badkamer met goede regendouche. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig maar voor € 7 per persoon een prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Wij hebben drie avonden tot volle tevredenheid in het restaurant gegeten. De gegrilde vis is fantastisch en zeker aan te bevelen. Zo ook de wijnen. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is adembenemend. In de omgeving zijn er verschillende mooie dorpen/stadjes om te bezoeken, een goede uitvalsbasis.

El restaurante esta bien, tomamos el menu por 25€ y la relaccion calidad precio es buena. Otro tema es el hotel, nos alojamos en una habitacion literalmente a 3 metros de la recepcion. Es como si estuvieras la cama en el pasillo, escuchamos todos los check in y check out, nos dormimos con el ultimo cliente que llego por la noche y despertamos con el primero en irse. El dueño nos ofrecio cambiar la habitacion una vez instalados con otro huesped que no habia llegado, al final declinamos por no trasladar todo y ademas traspasar el problema a otra persona. Tambien comento que debido a las circustancias tendria algun detalle con nosotros que nunca tuvo. Esto fue decepcionante. En resumen, bajo mi punto de vista esa habitacion no debe ofrecerse o hacerlo dejando bien claro las condiciones y ademas por la tercera parte del precio.

Vom Hotel - und auch von unserem Zimmer - gibt es einen herrlichen Blick auf die Berge. Es liegt etwas abseits und ruhig, was uns hervorragend gefallen hat. Unser Zimmer, das Studio, war sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist recht einfach, typisch spanisch. Es gibt frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Wir haben auch einmal im Hotel gegessen - übrigens offenbar ein beliebter Treffpunkt für die Einheimischen - , und es hat uns gut geschmeckt. Preis und Leistung passen.
