I checked in by myself, but I didn't receive the password email. Fortunately, I brought an overseas phone, otherwise I would have no way to contact anyone. There is the sea opposite and the air is very good...

Walking into the Sunrise Suite after a 350 mile drive in a day across Europe was a delightful experience, Looking out over the beach to the pier and the hugeness of the Channel was special. Collapsing into a soft sofa and drinking tea while considering what next to do, eventually reviving in a deep bath before supper was so good. It’s a simple recipe for a good night. I let myself in with a key code, found everything clean and ready for me. Next day I discovered a cafe for coffee and eggs and pottered on my way, ready fir the next 280 miles of my journey. It was good….. very good!

We absolutely loved it here stayed triple room sea view stayed with another couple too they had double sea view Jade & Chloe so helpful lovely place will be visiting more for weekends with our friends The weather was great too just blue skies The beds were so comfortable that’s the main thing coffee n tea lovely extras

The bed duvet were so comfortable in the Smugglers suite. Beautiful Bathroom with bath & shower. Lounge had comfortable armchairs table 2 chairs fridge microwave kettle & coffee machine - no instructions though. No instructions with tv Thought we had turned it off 1st night but woke up with the light flashing so turned it off at mains. Great position for car park. Free from 6pm til 8am. Then 1.80 per hour.

Very clean and comfy hotel right on Deal's seafront. The room had a bathroom, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Despite its location, a very quiet place, good fir sleep. The only caveat is the Clarendon doesn't have a lift, and some steep stairs, might be an issue for people with mobility issues. Apart from that, I cannot recommend the Clarendon enough!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this seafront hotel and had a wonderful time. It's not a 5-star hotel but I've given it 5 stars because it was perfect for us. We were warmly welcomed and well looked-after. The room was nicely appointed with a little bathroom and a big telly! The bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. But best of all was the huge window looking out over the sea. We didn't realise that it doesn't do food until we got there but there are loads of really great cafés and restaurants within a very short walk.

Just returned from 2 nights' stay. Clean room, which, although at the back of the hotel, was perfectly functional. Bed was a little soft for our liking, but ok for 2 nights. 2 steep flights of steps to room 9, so check for mobility before you book. Would stay again. Good value for money

We stopped here for one night on our cycling trip. The room was excellent, roomy, clean and very well appointed. Check in and out is very straight forward, all done on line. Rooms have free Wi-Fi and the view from ours was amazing - it felt as if you could step onto the beach! It’s also excellent value for money.
