Emerald Shores Hotel - Daytona Beach

Excellent service from the moment we entered the lobby. We just needed a place to sleep and shower (hurricane) and this hotel surpassed our expectations. The manager was great as we interacted with him at check in. The front desk staff was knowledge and fun to chat with. We would DEFINITELY come stay here again!

We booked this hotel less than 24 hours to arriving and was pleasantly surprised. I saw the price and the location and was a bit wary about it. From the moment we walked in the customer service was amazing. It is not a fancy place in any way. But it is exactly what we were looking for. Relaxation, not crowded, on the beach, and with an ocean view. The room was clean, comfortable, and plenty of room. You can tell this place has been there awhile, and some of the decor is dated. The floors have been remodeled to hard wood which makes it very nice with all the sand and salt that travels in the room. The continental breakfast is nothing special, which we were told at check in. The tiki bar by the pool is not operational but made for a nice space to socialize with other guests and get some shade. The staff recommended some amazing places to have a nice dinner. It was actually some of the best food we had ate in such a long time. Coming from a vacation destination (Savannah, GA) to another vacation destination we were not sure we would get the relaxation and recharging we needed. We were amazed at how there was not a huge crowd in the middle of July on a weekend at that. So, if you just need a getaway, or a trip to the beach where you can walk right out to the sand and within a low budget, this is the place to go. Return guests also get a discount.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was right on the beach and very relaxing. The view from our room was amazing. The only thing i would recommend is a hot breakfast. Would highly recommend

This place is awesome!! What makes it awesome you ask? Talk to Marc, Tish or Reggie and it will be abundantly clear to you. We were welcomed as family and long time friends and we departed with sadness as we did not want to leave our new friends. We were treated as royalty and we had the best time. We cannot say enough positive things about this hotel but the hotel is just bricks and mortar. It's those who run this hotel that make it your home for your time away! Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very accommodating when I showed up last minute because the hotel I was in next door had cockroaches. The room was well kept and the view was amazing. I loved having access to the beach and spending the evenings in the hot-tub. It was also great to access my own streaming services on the TV. Traveling alone I felt very safe there and will definitely be going back again!

Great get away for my husband and I. Great view and price. Marc the manager, Tish and Karen was very nice and helpful. Will be my go to place. Quite side of town is great, plenty of foods near by. Give it a try

My friend and I checked into the hotel on October 3. I spoke to the manager on the morning of October 4 and told him that the water in the shower would not get hot, and the tub filled up to my ankles when I did take a lukewarm shower that morning. (My friend refused to take a shower under those conditions.) I also told him how noisy the air conditioner was and that it would not stay at a comfortable temperature. He said that he would tell maintenance about it and have them look at it. When I asked him about compensation, he said he would talk to the owner and let me know. I have called the hotel twice in the last three days and left messages for him. He refuses to return my phone call.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this lovely hotel. We had a room facing the Halifax River which was stunning but the sea views are just as wonderful. Our room was large and spotlessly clean with a fridge and microwave. We had a king bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but made a good start to the day. The Staff were just the best and we were made so welcome by Trish and Mark who always had time to chat to us as we came and went. We felt more like friends than paying guests. A very memorable experience and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
