Hawaii Motel

We booked this hotel for the Welcome to Rockville festival. We paid a little more than I think the rooms were worth, but it’s to be expected during a festival and was still significantly cheaper than most other hotels in the area. We arrived literally minutes before the midnight check-in cutoff, and I felt bad for cutting it so close, but the proprietors are SO KIND!! I’ll be honest, from the outside, the rooms looked a little sketchy, but once inside they are very comfortable and clean. They are a little dated, but practically spotless! We had open issue with our shower, and the owners were so apologetic and addressed it immediately. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Daytona. To the proprietors, I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names, but I cannot thank you enough for being so kind and accommodating!!

We were doing a long distance drive and we came in very late at night after having booked online. The owners were very kind and pleasant about us arriving at 1 am and let us sleep in the following morning which we appreciated so much! The hotel is very clean and rooms are spacious with so many adorable retro touches (green bathroom tiles! Great hotel sign!). Furniture is new and in pristine condition though feels retro . Shower pressure is amazing! We had a blissful sleep in this super-quiet hotel. Note that you must book online. We will definitely stay here again!
