Daylesford Holiday Park

We stayed in cabin 12. The receptionist allocated us a studio cabin but when we asked if it was pet friendly she changed our booking to a 6 berth cabin which cost us an additional $42.00. The first thing we noticed was a painting that had been hung sideways in the room. It appeared it was hung this way because of space limitations. The room was not clean there was mould on the curtains and on the window sills. There was laminate missing off cupboards and insufficient seating for 6 people. Had to wash our dishes before using them. Shampoo and conditioner provided for only 1 guest. The remainder 5 guests miss out. Paying $208.00 per night for this cabin is the most expensive we have paid ever and certainly not the best. Any to top things off the bed was well past it’s use by date and no wifi. I would not recommend this park to anyone

Would not recommend We booked a last minute cabin with our 2 children for 1 night. We arrived late & whilst the self check in kiosk was great, it didn't dispense our key. I had to call the out if hours number at 10pm which woke up the owner to get our cabin key. On opening the cabin we were almost knocked out by the disguising stench of sewerage. We had to keep the bathroom door closed all night with the fan on just to sleep. Had it not have been so late at night we would have requested a refund & gone sonewhere else. Everything in the cabin was cheap & nasty. The couch was extremely umcomfortable & the beds hard as a rock. For the premium price paid this park is extremely disappointing.

We stayed in Elm 8 unit over the Anzac weekend April 2025 and paid $246.67 a night for 3 adults. Other members of our family were also staying there for the weekend as well. We arrived on the Thursday afternoon and when we arrived at our unit it was so disappointed with it . Cannot believe it has never been undated for about 40years not only that the place was filthy. We had taken our shoes off at the door and walked inside with my white socks on and by the time I put my case down in the bedroom they were black. The dishes and cutlery were dirty in the cupboards in the kitchenette. Spider webs everywhere. I continued to make the bunk bed up and went out to get something a few minutes later i returned to the room and there was the biggest spider in the bedroom on the floor. I’d hate to think of where that came from The broom was full of hair and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom also in the shower All of our family members that stayed there were all disappointed with their accommodation as well their cabins were old , filthy and smelt like animals and. Needed updating to. Our families gathered in the camp kitchen each night for dinner and that was not kept clean either. The toilet blocks are also so very old and are in need of an update. Think it’s about time they spent some money on the place for the prices they are charging VERY DiSSAPPOINTED

Bad service The start was bad . When I have a free night and the hotel charge me the wrong amount then refuse to refund me. Get to the room and the bins are full.

Love the experience and really helpful staff :)

The trees in the park were huge and stately, especially the sequoias.
