The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO

The hotel is located in a suggestive area surrounded by nature, a nice place for a walk! 5 min car to bus station for Detian waterfalls. The room was old style but comfy and clean, we really enjoyed having a hot bath after a day of visiting! Reception personnel were friendly and helpful in organising transportation with a private driver since no taxi seemed to be available in the area. The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of Chinese delicacies even for breakfast. Recommended for families or couples

Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

Good value for money. Breakfast is okay and rooms are clean. No facilities around and only mandarin speaking service but very friendly!

The hotel is nestled into the Kapok Scenic Area gardens, and the landscaping is as serene as it is stunning. Buying a ticket and catching the tour bus for Detian waterfall required hiking down the mountain, but the hike offered beautiful vistas. My room was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. I was delighted to discover the room had both a small balcony and a wooden bathtub. The concierge was very helpful, and connected me with a personal driver to take me back into Daxin city, who patiently helped me through a Covid-19 testing requirement issue.

The hotel is close to Detian Waterfall and was built in 2008, but the guest rooms should be renovated. They are stylish and simple and not outdated, and the facilities are also new. The catering is also good, especially the hotel service is great! 👍Seriously solve the problem, help change and upgrade the room type, and carefully and patiently answer the questions in the scenic area...

The room is very comfortable and quiet. The park covers a large area and is a natural scenic area. The hotel building itself is like a work of art. I had the best sleep in this hotel during a one-week tour. You can climb mountains, transfer water, and walk around the boundary monuments on the China-Vietnam border in the park. It is a great place to spend time.

There are 3 boundary markers around the hotel, you can walk around them one by one, the most beautiful one is to cross the bridge. The overall management of the hotel is standardized. Although it is relatively old, it also meets the requirements of a star hotel. It is much better than the surrounding B&Bs and is suitable for bringing children. The breakfast is good and the service staff are also very good.

Old hotel, the brand is trustworthy! The environment is great! The decoration is very stylish! There are a lot of mosquitoes, so you need to bring your own mosquito repellent! The hotel breakfast is very rich and delicious! The front desk service is also very good! Welcome fruit was also delivered at around 9 o'clock in the evening!

The hotel is near the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area, the environment is very good, in the Kapok Scenic Area, Ziyuan is like the Baicao Garden written by Mr. Lu Xun, the trails are quiet, the room is very clean, the iron plate black bone fish ordered in the evening is very delicious, the ingredients are fresh, very satisfied. Next time I will bring the elderly to stay for two days

When I came to Detian Waterfall, I chose Detian Laomuqian Resort Hotel, which should be the best hotel in this place. The hotel park is very large and the ecological environment of the park is also very good. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the main entrance of the hotel to the hotel front desk. The room is very large, and the furnishings in the room are slightly old, but it doesn't have much impact. The facilities in the room are also complete.

There is room for improvement in service and facilities. The journey is a bit far. It is recommended to arrive before dark. It is a great place to stay when visiting the Transnational Falls. I like the hotel design and furnishings. A caring business.

We stayed in a hotel in the scenic area, not in the main building, but in a duplex. There were other hotels with similar decorations around, but they were closed, so we didn't have to worry about noise. We could take pictures of some niche scenery when we walked around, and there was a boundary marker next to it where we could directly see the lives of the Vietnamese. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and we hoped that the network problem could be solved.

After all, it is in the scenic area, and it is close to Detian Waterfall. In the off-season, it is better to stay in the main building. The hotel environment is antique, the service is really good, and the staff is super patient. There is also a free ticket to Tongling Grand Canyon, which I just went there to play after leaving the hotel the next day.
