We loved our cabin! I would suggest taking extra items for the kitchen because we didn't have any dish soap, dishwasher soap or paper towels but they brought us some when we asked. It is very obvious this is a very busy park and probably short staffed so it was surprising how well it was maintained in spite of these things.

The park itself is absolutely stunning—breathtaking views, peaceful trails, and the waterfall is definitely worth the hike. Nature lovers will appreciate the setting, and we even had the thrill of spotting a bear during our visit, which made the trip extra memorable. As for the cabin, it had a rustic charm but was a bit on the dusty and musty side—part of the experience, I suppose, but next time I’d probably opt for the lodge for a bit more comfort. The on-site restaurant was good, not great, but convenient after a day of exploring. There’s not a ton to do beyond enjoying nature, but that’s the appeal for some. If you're looking for more to explore, definitely take the short drive to downtown Dahlonega—great little shops and a charming vibe. All in all, a great spot for soaking in the beauty of the mountains—just go in knowing it’s more about the outdoors than the amenities.

It was wonderful! Lodge and food were great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We parked at the top of the falls. So we didn't have to hike to see the falls.

My husband, my daughter and I stayed on the 28th to celebrate my birthday. It was a last minute decision just to get away for one night and to visit Amicalola Falls. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay as the area and views from the lodge is just stunning. We stayed at the lodge years ago and loved it then as well. I do have to echo other reviewers and mention that the interior needs updating. It was disappointing to compare it to our previous visit as far as upkeep. The outside maintenance is wonderful and I would like to have seen the same care being given to the inside. The carpeting is in desperate need of replacing and the waffling can pose a risk for tripping especially for senior citizens. We had no complaints with the restaurant other than it being a bit pricey for dinner. We loved the breakfast buffet and thought the price was reasonable. All in all we had a great time.

Gorgeous views and lovely trails. The cabins are a great size for the price. We liked that the cabins and camping were close together. It was the perfect place for family to stay for a nearby wedding. The pavilion in the campground was excellent for a family party.

The park itself is beautiful The lodge needs some work, it’s outdated. The carpet is pulling up, the bed was ok, the bathroom was clean but overall it wasn’t worth the price. Food wasn’t that good either. Overpriced as well. Then you get an additional charge at the end for using the coffee and internet in the room.

he Hotel room was absolutely disgusting. There was food crumbles all on the floor in back of the bed and night stand. There was so much dust you could not breath. Room carpet coming up at the seams and stained. Bathroom tub dirty not cleaned at all. Pillows the size of an accent pillow, windows cloudy, bathroom door does not shut on and on. Great view and I suggest going to the park and in joy the sites then leave DO NOT stay at the hotel. We paid over 200.00 for crap

Valentine's Weekend. Room was fine nothing special. Food, menu offerings and service at the restaurant were just fair. We signed up for the free nature encounter and waited 30 minutes but no one ever showed. We were there for a romantic weekend. The hotel was ok but the waterfall was amazing and that's the main attraction if you're staying there.
