Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dawsonville

Great staff went over and beyond. Wonderful breakfast. Clean lodgings. We had a hiccup but Manager Freddie took care of it in a timely manner. Great place to stay in a beautiful city. Close to lots of places to eat.

Above Arrival on Friday evening. I went to store to purchased some snacks to keep in the refrigerator for my Diabetes. The Refrigerator was not working upon returning to hotel. Its was around 10p.m. or later. The night guy Adam try his best to fix the issue finally on Refrigerator number 3 they thought they fixed it. Waking Saturday morning refrigerator was not working food was hot as ever.I proceeded to take a shower when going into the bathroom the walkin shower I requested turns out to be a tub.I requested a walkin shower because im partial disable and with a partial amputation to my foot my balance is not the best for a tub.So, I went to front desk to give details of the Disaster and the Tub issue.Then thenight shift lady came removed food and at 530 am im moving to a new room. Upon moving to new room appears to be better. Yes, a walkin shower as requested. Refrigerator working.overall im alot more pleased. After taking a shower went out side to inspect pool area. Leaves and debris on pool patio area,in the pool on top and the floor of pool. I assume maybe im expecting to much too early..I went ahead did a few things. Came back after lunch pool still Nasty. The pool water does not even seem to be moving (circulating in the pool). Again,big disappointment because I want to try some pool exercises for my affected leg and foot. Pool still not clean on Saturday evening at closing time for pool. Sunday morning I woke went to use the sink...Alot more to story please call me.

This is one of the hotels in the Dawsonville area that has the most exceptional staff that makes sure that your stay is the best that it can be. The hotel is clean, well stocked in your room, and there’s something in the breakfast area for everyone in your family.… Even for the picky eaters. Kids especially love hitting the button for the pancake machine and it is fun to watch. The people here are what makes this place better than the hotels surrounding the area. I’ll be back again soon and I’m thankful for a place this nice to call my home away from home as we have aging parents who require more help now. We are there often… We see everything from people staying for weddings, traveling ball teams, people put out of their homes due to storms, business people passing through, people looking to relocate in the area… And the staff always make sure everyone feels welcome. Those are some of the things that makes this hotel stand out from the others around.

Very nice staff, very good area, and very good breakfast. Most likely to stay again if need to. Thanks for being a good place to stay.

The staff were accommodating and easy to work with. We had a problem with our reservation due to a personal issue and they were very understanding. The manager resolved the issue within a few minutes. That sort of service sets hotels apart in this day and age.
