Pomeroy Inn and Suites Dawson Creek

We rented 7 rooms with our family for the fall fair. One room had dirty socks from possibly the previous guest. One room had a dirty cloth on the floor. One room had an onion on the floor. One rooms air conditioner didn't work and we called front desk in the morning, they said maintenance would come fix it, we called later when nobody showed up to fix it and they told us there was nothing they could do because maintenance had gone home so we had to go buy fans for the hot room. They told us they'd bring a fan and never did. One room had a blanket that had what looked like a urine stain on it. At least one of the rooms tv stand is so dirty you can write your name in the dust. At least two of our rooms have holes and rips in the curtains and don't close properly. The blankets on the bed have a sheet wrapped around them that comes off very easily and I doubt they clean the blankets after each guest judging from everything else. This place has really gone downhill in the last few years and standards have dropped on all levels. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We were accommodated by the Pomeroy Inn & Suites as a result of a fire at our apartment complex. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Upon check in we were given our keys and it was very quick and professional. I’ve stayed at multiple Pomeroy Group hotels over my travels and the one in Dawson Creek is one of the best. The room was well appointed with a separate bedroom, small kitchen area, bathroom and living area. The bedroom had a large king bed with a large TV with a wide range of channels available to watch, space for laptop work with a computer chair and an outlet to plug in the laptop. Breakfast every morning was a nice touch with plenty of options, didn’t get to try the waffles but if I remember correctly they were always delicious to enjoy. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly, helpful and outstanding. Special shoutout to Taran in housekeeping and the front desk agent (I can’t remember her name) for making the stay extra special despite the circumstances that we were there for. Thankfully at the end of our stay we were told we were able to return to our apartment complex

Very accommodating hotel with super friendly staff. Hot breakfast every morning ( different variety every day. Just like to give a shout out to Ginette for being such a friendly and positive person. Thanks for taking care of us every morning!!!

This has bees overly overdue and has been on my list of things to do for quite some time now. Ive never written anything for a review about anything except for this one So here goes. You’ve greeted us with nothing but a smile for years now and finally it is written in a slight way in this review. Mary you my dear are very special to all of us. You’re welcoming voice and home cooked goodness is so appreciated.. Truthfully if its my last it wouldn't really bother me. But you deserve this not only as an extremely great and valued employee but as one of my favourite people. Your positive attitude and just the way you treat others is contagious and seen throughout our whole company. It’s never been unnoticed and i hope there are many years of you putting up with our crazy antics and still treating all of us like pure gold almost like a mother would to her children. This hotel definitely needs you and hopefully shows you that like you do to us. In my opinion you are the backbone of this building and it wouldn't be close to enjoyable without your presence. Ive been telling you for years now that i would write a review so there it is. Truthfully its been entirely overdue and i really hope you understand how welcomed you make me and the boys feel every single time we show up to make your floors dirty!
