Grand Belish Hotel

Didn't manage to enjoy the facilities & the seaside during our stay in this hotel as we are staying in this hotel for a night on 16 Nov'24. When we reach the hotel is already 6.30pm for checking-in. But I do like the ambiance in the room & the cozy balcony with breezy wind. Even so, we did enjoy going to the Turkish bath (additional paid service located at the lobby), price is acceptable for 90min sauna, turkish bath, face mask & oil massage. The welcoming boss is very humourous & cute, I called him "Mr Bean" as he really looks alike. Massage skill from the masseuse is great too. Recommended to give it a try.

Stayed during the 1st week of the 2 week October half term we have here in the UK. We were upgraded unexpectedly and really appreciated it. Our room was on the 5th floor. The hotel itself is beautiful, staff very friendly, helpful and genuine. I can not complain at all about the hotel as I said beautiful and lovely staff and the food was typical AI spread. The only negatives for us were that during the day the hotel was like a ghost town, no guests really at all. The slides at the pool while we were there were open 11am-12pm and again at 3pm (not sure how long for). We only stayed in the hotel complex on arrival day and departure day but this was our observation on those days. Come dinner time was a whole different story! Coach loads arrived every evening just before dinner and would wait outside the restaurant for it to open and flood it so it was very difficult to get a table as we were part of a party of 9. Luckily as we were a larger party with children the staff allowed us to sit up in the A la carte restaurant which was very kind of them but looked no different to the main restaurant. We didn't see anything going on in the day (of the 2 half days we spent there) entertainment wise, we assume as it was coming to the end of their season. The hotel is quite far from the centre so we had to get taxis everywhere as it wasn't in walking distance and there were no buses near by and the taxis were not punctual. The area the hotel is more residential than equipped for tourists so bare this in mind if you're looking to venture out of the hotel. We went on 2 day trips and had to get a taxi to another hotel for pick up and a taxi to the destination of the other trip as this hotel doesn't seem to be a hotel excursions will pick up from. All in all despite the location being 'off the beaten track' we really did like this hotel and I imagine that during the height of the season it has a livelier atmosphere and more activities going on.
