Sehr schönes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Frühstücksbuffet ist vollkommen ausreichend. Rührei etc. Wird auf Wusch frisch zubereitet. Die Speisen, auch in der HP sind sehr gut und auch recht viel. Manchmal sind die Portionen Schon sehr groß.

We can’t thank Mrs. Katrin Hennen and her team enough for the wonderful stay in her beautiful Hotel in Steinborn near Daun. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly - and English speaking - and our dinners in the restaurant were all delicious. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone did an exceptional job to make us feel at home away from home. Many Thanks ! Vielen Dank ! Es war schön bei Euch.

Wir waren vom 19.02.2023-22.022023 in diesem Hotel. Schon am ersten Abend ( Wochenende) fühlten wir uns als Hotelgäste nicht willkommen ( offenbar Besitzerin) hat uns sehr lieblos bedient! Wenn man denkt, dass man in einen freundlichen ruhigen Atmosphäre etwas entspannen kann-ist man hier völlig fehl am Platz!!! Das Hotel, steht an einer Hauptstraße und nicht! An einem ruhigen Platz mitten in der Eifel. Das Personal, ist bemüht-jedoch mit sehr wenig Freundlichkeit ausgestattet! Das Essen- war okay-wir empfanden es als sehr gut gesalzen und letztendlich hatten wir schon am zweiten Tag-keine Lust mehr auf dieses Essen! Unser Balkon -Zimmer war eine Katastrophe! Lieferanten, gaben sich morgens die Klinke in die Hand ! Alles in allem, würden wir nie wieder-in diesem Hotel Urlaub machen! Ich habe mich von den sehr guten Bewertungen leiten lassen und das war leider ein Fehler! Die angeblichen Ochsen, haben wir tagelang gesucht- keiner der Mitarbeiter- konnte uns wirklich sagen, wo sie stehen ( mal hieß es unten, mal oben);). Vom Gefühl her, existieren sie nicht mehr?!

Ik was met m’n ouders een weekendje weg in de Eifel. In dit hotel 2x een 2-persoonskamer geboekt, waarvan eentje voor 1-persoons gebruik, kamer 12 Eifel-art. De andere kamer (kamer 3) was een Land-art kamer. De kamers hadden allemaal een ruim eigen balkon met zitje. De bedden lagen heerlijk en het ontbijt was lekker. Het hotel ligt in een mooie omgeving buiten de plaats Daun.

My brother, dog and I spent the night here after the first stage of the Lieserpfad. We had initially miscalculated somewhat, because the hotel is still three kilometers from this path. This was quickly forgotten as we were able to take a part of the Eifelsteig to get to the hotel. We were immediately warmly welcomed and, with 25 kilometers in our legs, we were able to immediately enjoy the wellness facilities. There were three saunas, two rest rooms and free water available. This was immediately pure enjoyment. Then we had dinner in the hotel restaurant where I ate the largest double Bacon & Cheese burger I have seen in my life. My brother took the steak. We both enjoyed it very much. Finally, we enjoyed a good night's sleep in a neat, spacious room. In other words, the price-quality ratio of this hotel is excellent. We were surprised that this hotel only has three stars. I have already visited four-star hotels where I had less good food and where the wellness facilities were less good.
