Hotel mit sehr schönen klassisch eingerichteten Zimmern, in guter Lage in Darjeeling: Fern des knatternden Verkehrs kann *** hier vom zentralen Platz gut hinlaufen. Leider haben die meisten Zimmer keine Aussicht, sondern in unmittelbarer Nähe das nächste Gebäude gegenüber - unseres, 505, war damit recht dunkel. Das Restaurant Magnolia bietet Buffet und à la carte, zahllose Curries von hervorragender Qualität. Das Personal ist wirklich nett und an vielen Stellen auch sehr aufmerksam.

I spoke with the reservation team at Mayfair Darjeeling Hotel, and they confirmed that a room is available (CATEGORY : HERITAGE) . I informed them that its confirmed and we are 30 to 45 minutes away from the hotel and we have a child together. However, shortly after, I received a call asking me to look for another hotel, and the person abruptly hung up on me without let me speak. This was a very disappointing experience. Had the greatest experience with Mayfair Darjeeling. The management led by Mr. Ranjit Biswas was very professional, helpful and resourceful. The entire staff Mr. Manzil, Mr. Rana and Miss Meghna including others were professional, hands on and friendly. Food was excellent and the ambience beautiful. I would love to revisit this place and would also would highly recommend it to my friends and family. Thank

Our stay at Mayfair Hill Resort was truly memorable for my family. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warmth and hospitality stood out—each member was exceptionally courteous and greeted us with a smile every time we crossed paths. The restaurant team was outstanding, and the food was simply amazing. A special mention to Chef Alok, who went out of his way to accommodate our dietary preferences, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent, conveniently close to Chowrasta and Raj Bhavan. While the weather wasn’t clear during our visit, preventing us from seeing the majestic Kanchenjunga, I can only imagine how breathtaking the views must be on a clear day. The property itself exudes charm, with a boutique feel and beautifully curated artifacts that enhance its elegance. The attention to detail in the décor adds to the overall experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose Mayfair Hill Resort again on our next trip to Darjeeling.

The hotel was freezing cold. My corner room was 15C (according to the temperature app I downloaded) and because the room was so huge, the small fire made little difference. The hotel did send an extra fire and hot water bottles, so it was possible to get some sleep. The bathroom had no source of heat and it was several degrees colder than the room - which meant it was way too cold to shower. The passsageways outside the bedroom leading to the reception and other amenities are open air and freezing. I learned to keep my coat on at all times. The food was a let down and short on more expensive protein items and the dal very thin and watery.

This is a lovely hotel well positioned with excellent views, lovely terraces with hundreds of flowers, really well designed rooms and public spaces. The staff are all excellent very welcoming and service level extremely high Parveen mixes amazing cocktails and was very attentive. The food was excellent both the buffet and off the menu. Housekeeping, nothing was a problem and if the temperature drops they bring hot water bottles and set a real fire in your room. We loved relaxing in the library over tea after a hectic day in fascinating Darjeeling. Highly recommended.
