i) Offers possibly the best views in Darjeeling of the Kanchenjunga & other snow-capped peaks from every room alongside views of the Darjeeling town! ii) Great hospitality by every member of the hotel staff lead by the GM himself. iii) Great location, at a height slightly away from the congested town and yet close enough because of the friendly shuttle service provided on call by the hotel.

Cedar Inn is beautifully located in a serene hill top in Darjeeling. It has an amazing view and you can spent time just by beholding the superb scenery. The whistling steam engine and chirping birds are the only sound you enjoy. We were overwhelmed by the friendly and loving staff members. Everyone took individual care of our stay including our likings, food preference how best we can tour the city etc. Every-time everyone greet with a big smile to make our day. A special call out for Mr Nangia, the GM of the hotel. His hospitality and care is definitely unmissable. Look forward for another visit for sure ….

Amazing place! Beautiful view 😍 There is quite a lot of city noise in Darjeeling, but when you drive up to this place, it's quiet and peaceful. Delicious brunch! Service also top notch, probably it comes from the manager being an extraordinary person. Definitely worth checking out!

I have had the good fortune of visiting Cedar Inn for the second time. The first time was in 2006 and in the last 18 years, the place has expanded yet managed to retain its signature rustic charm and warmth. With a picturesque view of the majestic Kanchenjunga, Cedar Inn tops the list of places one should stay when in Darjeeling. There might be other places in Darjeeling from where one could get the view of the mountains, but what sets apart Cedar Inn is the fantastic hosts in the form of Sanjay Nangia, Pravesh Rai, Sneha Lama and Neera Lopchen as well as the entire team at Cedar Inn. All of them have our heart and gratitude 🙏🏼

From the moment guests step into the reception, it is clear that Cedar Inn is a special place. This heritage hotel is beautifully decorated, creating a magical ambiance with its splendid gardens and breathtaking views of Kanchendzonga. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, with very comfortable beds. Although there is no air conditioning, each room is equipped with an oil heater, which warms the space quickly. Waking up in the morning, opening the curtains, and seeing Kanchendzonga from the room is truly indescribable. Perhaps most importantly, the hospitality of every staff member stands out, as they are all extremely polite and helpful.

Amazing experience of top class hospitality and services. Staff courtesy is at the next level! The unique feature of this property is direct unrestricted view of Kanchenjungha from every room. Food is superb! The free pick up and drop to the Mall Road more than compensates for the distance of the property from the city centre. Would definitely recommend.

This is the best hotel, hands down. Now, to be more specific about why it’s the best, firstly, the entire team, including the leader headed by Mr Sanjay, is super attentive to every detail, be it the food or the preference in what is needed. The best part is that as a leader, he doesn’t sit back; rather, he joins his team together and makes sure that all the guests are treated special. In terms of the room, it was squeaky clean, and the curtains were all handmade. Oh, here comes the best part of the view from the room of the mighty Kanchenjunga range. The view is so fulfilling that it would make you feel that you are the luckiest person and have nothing left to ask for. Thank you to everyone in the hotel for making our stay so memorable.

Nos hospedamos recientemente en el Cedar Inn Hotel y fue una experiencia inolvidable. El servicio fue excelente, con un personal que hizo todo lo posible para asegurarse de que estuviéramos cómodos.
