Danzhou Hotels with Pools

Had a wonderful stay here at Forest Inn, Hainan University! My cousin is starting university nearby and we came to drop her off. Since we had stayed in the downtown before, we wanted to find a place close to campus to experience. This hotel is the best option! It’s right within the campus entrance and easy to navigate to. The front desk concierge’s were very friendly and kind - two of them even took us around on the tour bus to familiarize us with the campus and surrounding area. They even went out of their way and offered to help us unload luggage. Since there was no parking space on move-in day, having the option to drop off saved us a lot of hassle. In addition to campus, the hotel is also located close to a botanical garden, about 15 minutes to the downtown area, and close to shops, stores, etc. Some suggestions: - Wish the pool was accessible as advertised on Trip but it’s now only a kiddie pool. - For longer stays, room amenities should be replenished daily based on number of guests. - I received a rather expensive delivery during my stay and asked the courier to leave it with the front desk as I was out during that time. There was someone at the front desk with a poor attitude who denied that any deliveries arrived and suggested it had been delivered to another location. Luckily, another staff member helped me check and found my delivery. I suggest besides giving guests misleading information, to ensure it’s accurate first.

I booked a two-bedroom room, which was very large and comfortable, and convenient for traveling with parents and children. The housekeeper contacted me in advance and informed me of the route to enter by car. The decoration of the villa is a bit exaggerated, which is not my type, but it is big and clean enough. The service staff is responsive and will pick you up when you go out to play. The pool is also cleaned and disinfected thoroughly before helping to drain the water. The facilities are complete, and the dry steam and wet steam rooms are great. There are also services such as door-to-door foot bath and massage. It is very suitable for a family vacation. It is a good experience to stay for two nights.

First time staying at Ocean Flower Island and Castle Hotel. Huge hotel with 5000+ rooms. We did not expect to find some facilities (e.g. swimming pools, etc) are closed for maintenance. Free shuttle bus to & from the railway station provides convenience for guests. While the front desk staff might not be as knowledgeable & helpful in our queries, the personal butler had provided us with excellent service. She is accessible via WeChat and highly responsive to all our queries. Thank you 管家 晓月 for making our stay a pleasant one!

Stay here for one night to see the ocean flower island and the light show. The hotel room had a great view and it's right next to the food street. You just need a short walk and you can see McDonald's or KFC and a bunch of restaurants. It is walking distance to the wedding manor where they were running the light show. The hotel bed was comfy and the TV had a number of free movies to watch!! We love the hotel breakfast spread. For some weird reason there were not a lot of tourists at night at the food street and outlet mall. It's just three of us and random couples down the road. The only thing that can be improved on is the service staff at the reception. The hotel does provide buggy rides but the frequency is one hour, so I wanted to ask about train rides and how to go about the area but they weren't too friendly, so we gave up and just walked around nearby. Overall quite happy with the short one night stay.

Another thing is that the hotel is in a good location, with convenient transportation. It's very comfortable to drive around. There is a parking lot, and the room has an excellent view from the entrance. It's a perfect sea view room. The facilities are very new and complete. The store service is warm and thoughtful. You can order takeout for meals. The surrounding life is convenient. There is ample space for the elderly and children to move around downstairs, which is full of life.

You can stay in this hotel and go to Ocean Flower Island for fun.
