I am a Hilton Grand Vacation owner who was lied to, deceived and scammed by sales man Sam at this location. He gave promises of Hilton buying back points if we upgraded our timeshare. He lied to us, manipulated us and completed scammed us. Be made aware that this property has at least one salesman by the name of Sam who is misleading and deceiving owners intentionally. I don’t know if management is aware and encouraging and supporting this or not? If anyone else has had same experience, let’s talk. You can find me on Facebook or Instagram.

Not a great experience. Rooms need a lot of maintenance. AC stopped working after a few days, the dishwasher wouldn’t dry, doors would not latch. The second bedrooms don’t have any windows, thus good luck trying to wake up with no lights in your room. There are vibrations throughout the building that you can feel on parts of the room like the chandelier, etc. Overall, the rooms are in disrepair and need some upgrades.

I slept here and was happy to leave. Underwhelming in every way. Felt like I was in the midst of a day trip for retirees who’d been sold scam timeshare. There’s a train line between you and the beach. There’s a dive bar down the street. This isn’t what I’d imagined Dana Point to be… It’ll do if you’re stuck for options for a night but pick somewhere else if you can.

Not far walk to the beach at all. Staff was friendly and room was clean! Would definitely come back. Will say that we could hear our upstairs neighbors loudly but that was the only complaint.

This 5 star review goes out to Kristine Quiroga, Asst. Executive Housekeeper. She went above and beyond making my stay from mediocre, to outstanding - she went out of her way to ensure I was taken care of when I had a request, and then followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied AND, she also hand delivered a card and chocolates. It's rare when someone goes out of their way to ensure a guest is taken care of, but Kristine did just that. I would definitely go back with that level of service. Thanks, Kristine!

4th Room
Perfect weather in April. Warm sunshine with a cool breeze. Our room was nice for the price. The beach is across the street beautiful! Though it was noisy. Traffic on the main road and the A/C is mounted above us [4th floor roof)heard humming noise all night. Didnt get much sleep.
