Hôtel de La Plage

Very good position on the beach with great views and access to the sea. Good dinner, need to book or reserve a table even if you are staying, also a good breakfast. We did however have a problem with a very wet bathroom floor. After a couple of showers, and a modern design with not having a shower door and the floor not sloping sufficiently to the drain. However asking for a mop and bucket, amounted to a "Faulty Towers" moment, even after Monsieur had inspected the flood. To be fair, Madame took on board the serious of our predicament and the issue was satisfactorily resolved.

Great position directly opposite an expansive beach and view. Road between hotel and the sea is quiet. Hotel has own car park. We had a spacious superior sea view room. Superking size bed, little balcony with table and chairs and a fab sea view. All very clean. Staff were all very hospitable and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and had dinner in the restaurant each night. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The weakest point was the breakfast which is minimal. It’s optional so if it doesn’t suit you can give it a miss. Damgan is a delightful little holiday village with bars, cafes and restaurants. It’s also well placed for exploring the coastline. Bike hire is available in the village and that’s a great way to spend a day!
