The overall experience was poor and we were disappointed with the hotel. We spent 3 nights here due to our usual hotel being fully booked for part of our stay. The issues we experienced surrounded the fact that the hotel owners' family were staying in the hotel and it made us feel like we were staying in someone's villa as a lodger rather than at a hotel as a guest. The family took over every aspect of the hotel - music, sunbeds, pool, bar. On our last night we came home at 10pm due to travelling in the morning. The family were around the bar (next to our room) where they were watching football - screaming, shouting, chanting non-stop. When the game ended at 23.45 they all decided to jump in the pool in celebration, thrashing the water loudly and again chanting and screaming. I personally feel that if you are going to have your family stay in the hotel like this, don't allow other guests to stay at the same time. We are young (mid-20s) and not at all bothered by partying and a bit of fun but the hotel should know when this is appropriate to do. We didn't want to be party poppers so let this carry on and tried to get some sleep. Someone even fell into our door and was screaming someone's name at around 1am. I was glad to be leaving. One guest arrived and left the same day because their room had been taken by a family member and they were told they could have the bigger room a few days into their stay, which of course the guest wasn't happy with, having booked months in advance. The room: Our room was a garden view room, in-between the kitchen and the bar, so it was loud every morning, with no chance of sleeping in past 8.30. The door had a gap underneath it so sound travelled loudly through. The room itself was very basic and tired but the bed was comfy enough. I think the other rooms were likely a lot nicer than ours based on the pictures. Our room was the only room not in the main building and shouldnt have been a room at all! We had fresh towels every day but no toilet roll was given. The fridge was really bright at night so you need to put a towel or t-shirt over the door. There's a lack of natural light when getting ready. The breakfast was plentiful but too much for two people and so we had it only once during our stay as we couldn't face wasting it. It was really nice but fed 4-6 people, not 2. As mentioned, we stayed here because our usual hotel couldn't host us for the whole duration of our stay. We took this as an opportunity to try somewhere new as we are getting married in Dalyan next year and thought we could recommend this hotel to our guests. Sadly we will not be, which is a shame for the hotel as we have around 100 guests visiting Dalyan. I've been visiting Dalyan since I was 7, over 20 years, and I'm sad that this hotel didn't live up to expectations. I wouldn't call it a boutique.
