A lovely place to stay. Everywhere smelled amazing! Nice touches in the room eg. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate, toiletries in the room smelled lovely and we're good quality as well. Easy to park and good size room with comfortable bed. Plenty of plug sockets as well!

Dates visited: Thurs 10th - Sun 13th October 2024 About us: couple in our late 20s Room: King Room with Kitchnette Would have given it 3.5 stars if I could. The good: Great communication prior to the stay. The studio apartment was lovely and clean, very modern too. The bathroom is gorgeous and smelt lovely! We loved the little touches like tea, coffee, biscuits, sponge, washing up liquid, and bin bags. There’s a fridge in the room, which is great for storing lunches and drinks. The location is good - around 30 mins from Lake Windermere. Lots of choices for food and shops (a walk away or a 10-15 minute drive for even greater choices). The bad: The bed was VERY hard. This comes down to personal preference, but we prefer a soft-medium spring mattress, so we found the bed really uncomfortable. There’s only one small window near the door, so it does feel very enclosed, but this didn’t bother us as we were only there to sleep. You can hear all the noise from the neighbours upstairs… Footsteps (the absolute worst!!), coughing, the TV… Etc. We only had people above us during our last night, but I’d have probably complained if I heard this every night (as it was SO loud). Ear plugs were provided, but we heard all the noise before going to sleep. Overall, lovely aesthetics, but not somewhere I would stay again, sorry! Jade & Michael

The standard of the accommodation was first class and excellent value for money. Room was extremely well appointed. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

A really great place to stay, the room was quiet, really well thought out for an accessible room, and well decorated. The bed was one of the most comfy I've slept in and the room was warm. The best night's sleep I've had away from home. I will definitely look to stay here again, if I'm in the area
