Found a bug on the headboard of the bed - inches from my head! We took it to the front desk and were told to speak to the staff in the morning. Upon checking out the next morning, we addressed the matter with the Sharon at the front desk. In a most condescending manner, we told that this bug was indigenous to the area, and it was perfectly acceptable to find them in our bed!!! Sharon offered us 3,000 in Hilton points as compensation, which we found totally unacceptable. Not only did we find a bug in our room (which was not very clean to start with), Sharon's haughty attitude toward us made us feel as though our concerns were childish and insignificant. We asked for the General Manager, Gautam Nanda, but, of course, he was unavailable at the time. Sharon provided his business card, and advised us to call him. We called Gautam, but .... big surprise ... were connected with his voicemail. A detailed message was left, but we never received a return call from him .... the G.M. of the hotel! We subsequently contacted Hilton Guest Assistance, the problem has been resolved, and we will receive a full refund. Beyond finding a bug in my bed, I'm absolutely appalled by the attitude and poor customer service we received from this Hilton property. As an Honors member and repeat customer at this hotel, we expected far better treatment. We won't be back, nor will be recommend this location.

Everything was great except for the continental breakfast. There wasn’t much selection. We were disappointed but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is relatively new, the facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and tidy, the service staff is very friendly, the breakfast is relatively simple, but there are 24 hours free coffee and hot tea, room service is every other day, the price on Ctrip is cheaper than overseas websites. This hotel in this town should be the most cost-effective choice.

My daughter and I were just driving through and needed a quick room for the night. I didn’t want to spend much, so I looked at reviews and saw this Howard Johnson had recent reviews that were good, so we took a chance. We usually stay at other chains, but their prices were $60-$80 more per night and all we needed was a clean place to sleep. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at how cute it was decorated. The front desk clerk was welcoming and friendly, property was well lit and I loved that we parked right outside our door. We felt safe and the room was very clean and quiet, beds were super comfortable. There was an outdoor pool that we didn’t have time to use, but looked nice. We didn’t see what they had for breakfast as we drove over to Panera. There are so many restaurants and fast food within a couple of minutes from the motel. We will for sure stay here again when traveling through. I highly recommend- great value!

Location close to restaurants and interstate. No highway noise in my room. Safe location. The check in front desk attendant (Maurice?) was very helpful. Room was clean, but the entry was a little blocked by the furniture holding the refrigerator and microwave. The luggage cart could not be brought very far into the room. Comfortable mattress and pillows. I did not use the fitness room or eat breakfast at the hotel. Wifi worked fine.
