The Carpentry Hotel

Absolute GEM of a hotel! On arrival day, I received a lovely call from Ella at the front desk asking if there was anything she could do to make my arrival perfect: she offered extra water, to set my room temperature, etc. Upon arrival, she looked me in the eye and welcomed me, then shared the multiple amentities available from the hotel. I was early, and my room wasn't quite ready, so I went to my conference early. She called within an hour to let me know my room was ready and waiting. The hotel is gorgeous on the inside: blue doors for all the rooms, and it just feels so quiet and nice. The rooms are wonderful, with blue tile walk-in showers, plenty of space for your clothes, branded water bottles, a Keuring, coffee and tea pods, and a gorgeous leather binder with hotel information. The hotel was very full, but I never heard a thing in my room. It was like being in a little comfy bubble. The beds are wonderfully made and comfortable. A free light continental breakfast (pastries, coffee, tea) is offered each morning in the bar; the breakfast bread was delicious, and they had my favorite tea available. I've had a ton of work travel lately and I'm a little burned out on hotels; The Carpentry was the first hotel I was SAD to check-out of. Planning a trip closer to Christmas to take my husband for a visit!

Absolutely the best hotel! The staff open the door for you when you are carrying in luggage. The rooftop patio with couches is perfect for relaxing! The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants.
