We had a really enjoyable stay at Orchy Bank House. The owner came out to welcome us and gave us information about the house and grounds as well as some simple house rules. The decor in the house is beautiful and with an artistic flair. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a super king sized bed. We loved the garden which overlooks the river Orchy and the ducks just added to its charm. We will definitely try to return to Orchy Bank House.

If I could give 11 out of 10 as a rating, I would do. The property is immaculate and clearly maintained to a very high standard. Host was exceptionally helpful and willing to take time to explain everything. Being situated by a running stream, great entertainment at breakfast time with ducks feeding.

Ich hätte mehr Sterne gegeben aber das ist leider nicht möglich. Ein traumhaftes Kleinod in wundervoller Lage. Dieses von einem Ehepaar geführte B&B ist eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wie auf unseren vielen Reisen erleben durften. In einem sehr schön angelegten Garten, mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten, direkt an einem kleinen Fluss gelegen, wird man schon von Beginn an sehr freundlich und persönlich betreut. Die Zimmer sind groß und liebevoll eingerichtet mit direktem oder seitlichen Fluss-Blick oder auf die Berge. Es gibt Kaffee-/Tee-Möglichkeit, Fön, Handseife und Duschgel. Außer den verschiedenen Frei-Sitzen gibt es einen sehr gemütlichen - großen Wohnzimmer-Bereich für die Gäste, wo auch noch mal Kaffee/Tee zubereitet werden kann und Wasser zur Verfügung steht. Auch der Frühstücksraum ist sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück bestellt man am Abend davor und wählt zwischen vielen Varianten aus. Es wird sehr auf Nachhaltigkeit geachtet. Die Gastgeber stehen sehr freundlich mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und geben Restaurant- und Ausflugs-Tipps. Wir haben hier für 3 Nächte gebucht, da es ein idealer Standort für Ausflüge ist, wären aber gerne länger geblieben. Wir kommen sicher wieder hierher.

What a lovely place . A truly memorable stay . Easy to find , magical location right beside the river . A warm welcome . The house was spotlessly clean with lovely decor. Room was a good size , bedding super comfortable . The breakfast menu was extensive , breakfast itself was top class . Happy to give highest recommendation. . Love the birdlife in the garden and appreciated the useful local information . Thanks to Melinda and Nicoli.

Wonderfully located at the riverbank, you can have a relaxing time in the beautiful garden. The breakfast was just the best we have seen in Scotland so far - superb. And of course, the very friendly hosts made us feel very welcome. If we come back to this area, we would definitely choose this lovely guest house.

Amazing B&B. Nikolai and Melinda were welcoming and fabulous hosts. Home from home feeling, loved the guest sitting room. Breakfast was delicious and the B&B was so clean it was sparkling. Can only give 5 stars but it is truly worth 10. A definite stay if you are going to Loch Awe.

The room was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The house is in a picturesque and convenient location to reach the Oban ferries. The porridge was delicious - the biggest bowl I have ever seen but somehow I managed it!

Splendida casa immersa nel verde con un bellissimo giardino con tanto di stagno e anatre selvatiche. Proprietari molto simpatici, disponibili e accoglienti. Tutto ristrutturato da poco e in modo ottimale. Posteggio privato gratuito in loco.

The Orchy Bank Guest House is like a place out of a fairytale. The beautifully renovated house sits right on the river bank in a gorgeous garden that you can see from a guest room and the breakfast room (great breakfast too!). The hosts are lovely people who will answer all the questions you might have about the area. I would highly recommend a stay!
