A 10 minute taxi from the old town. Great service and a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Buffet style with lots of options for Chinese or plenty of Western options too. Reasonably priced and great views of the lake. After a day walking around the old town or hiking on the mountain it was nice to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel.

Honglongjing Hotel is a treasure hotel with excellent service. The waiter came to pick us up at the parking lot and arranged a relatively large room for us. In particular, there is a rooftop garden overlooking the ancient city of Dali. It is convenient to go to nearby attractions. It is very clean and has racks for drying clothes. The breakfast is not bad. There is a water bar with resident singers at night. Recommended to everyone.

A very thoughtful hotel. Mom and I had a great relaxing stay at this hotel. The employees are all very thoughtful. When we head out we would ask for a bottle of water but the sweet girls will always ask if we need more because they see it’s the two of us. The sea view rooms have views of Erhai at a distance but we still enjoyed watching the clouds dance through the sky with the lake and mountains. The rooms are big and clean too. Highly recommend this hotel for people wanting to stay near Dali’s ancient town.

When checking in on the first day, the two waitresses at the front desk seemed to have not received their salary for several months. They looked ugly and did not smile or greet each other. The guy who took the luggage was very enthusiastic. I saw a comment that when checking in at night, I turned around and fell into the small landscape lake in front of the front desk. In fact, I almost fell in. This design is very **. The room is on the upper and lower floors, and the stairs are a bit steep. It is not recommended for elderly people to stay. The lighting in the room is a bit dim. The location of the hotel is good, just next to the ancient city, but the hotel is too cost-effective and not worth it.

This hotel is awesome. We had the superior king room which is modern and spacious and it features a bathtub and a Japanese style toilet. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts are very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. They also speak a bit english. We got free entry to the three pagodas which was nice. Thank you!

I also had a deeper understanding of life, as if opening a new door to the inner world of tranquility. Then there was the Zhengjian Meditation Course Experience. The course setting is very professional, from the basic postures of meditation to breathing methods, and how to guide thoughts into a state of concentration, all are explained in detail. In the quiet atmosphere, with repeated breathing adjustments, I gradually put aside the daily distractions and entered a state of emptiness. The whole person seemed to be recharged and refreshed. This feeling of deep relaxation and inner clarity is really wonderful. Finally, I have to mention the Hilton swimming experience. Although it was a bit unexpected for the homestay and Hilton to cooperate in providing this project, it was really a super surprise! The water quality of the swimming pool is extremely clear and the water temperature is just right. When swimming in it, the feeling of freedom is intoxicating. The environment around the swimming pool is also very elegant. It is very comfortable to lie on the lounge chair and rest for a while after swimming.
