Dali Prefecture Hotels with Bars

We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

Travel with big families and lucky to choose the pullman hotel which has convenient locations, accessible to most of the attractions near the erhai lake. The hotel is very new with fabulous lake view to enjoy the erhai and also xing sheng bridge . We dined in twice for dinner at level 5 grand Chinese restaurant. The food quality is above average and price reasonable with additional 10% off for hotel guests.

This is my third time in Yunnan. The last time was 4 years ago when I passed by Shaxi in a hurry. At that time, I felt that this place was like a paradise. So this time, I went straight to Shaxi without hesitation, and chose Kogondi after comparing many options. Facts have proved that my choice was absolutely correct! As someone who worked as a DM in a five-star hotel in Shanghai for 10 years, I can say responsibly that whether it is software or hardware, I wouldn't say it's the best in the whole country, but it is definitely the ceiling in Yunnan. Even compared with the top hotels in Shanghai, I think Cogongdi is not inferior. The service is responsive, the room facilities are high-end, and even the shampoo and shower gel are from Bulgari. It can be said that the store spared no expense in such details. Staying at Kegundi is a perfect experience. If you want to visit Shaxi again, you must choose Kegundi.

When checking in on the first day, the two waitresses at the front desk seemed to have not received their salary for several months. They looked ugly and did not smile or greet each other. The guy who took the luggage was very enthusiastic. I saw a comment that when checking in at night, I turned around and fell into the small landscape lake in front of the front desk. In fact, I almost fell in. This design is very **. The room is on the upper and lower floors, and the stairs are a bit steep. It is not recommended for elderly people to stay. The lighting in the room is a bit dim. The location of the hotel is good, just next to the ancient city, but the hotel is too cost-effective and not worth it.

The breakfast is great! You must go! You must be at the hotel for sunset in the afternoon! This stay is great. When you step into the room, the beautiful sunset view outside the window instantly comes into view, and the fatigue of the day is cured. The room facilities are complete and the smart system is super convenient. The housekeeper Ah Hui's service is even more considerate and responsive. The rice noodles for breakfast are very local and start a day full of energy. Highly recommended!

FANTASTIC STAY! Hands down, one of the best hotel stay experience we had. The entire hotel and the room interior were designed to be simple yet classy and gives off the beach holiday vibes. The room is a “smart room” with most functions like the lights, music and curtains to be controlled by “小爱同学”, just like google home. In addition, they have butler service during the entire stay and the service our butler 青柠 provided was super duper impressive and she always tries to go beyond. Knowing that one of us was celebrating birthday, she even prepared an entire cake for us. As we only stayed for a night, she specially tried to make arrangements to book a photography slot for us even thought the schedule was full. The afternoon tea and goodnight desert soup, were delivered directly into our rooms for us. Definitely coming back to yuewan on my next visit to Dali!

House: The B&B was renovated from a 400-year-old old house. The interior retains the style of the ancient house, with sliding windows that reveal the mountains and a very atmospheric feel. The only drawback is that the sanitary conditions inside the ancient house need to be improved. Scenery: The B&B is surrounded by gardens and there is a mountainside cafe where you can watch the mountains and chat, which is very pleasant. There is also a restaurant under construction in the garden, which is worth looking forward to. Person: Whether it is the boss sister, Big Beard, or the aunt, or the little girl, they are all very honest and friendly. The cooking made by Big Beard and the aunt is very delicious. We sit in the garden every day and eat the delicious food they cook. Don’t be too happy. People in Nuodeng like to give their children delicious food. We took the baby for a walk around the village, and the baby's belly bulged... There are also three dogs in the B&B. They are not afraid of people and can play with them casually. The baby enjoys playing with them every day. Huh. It was our first long-distance self-driving trip with a 2-year-old baby. We chose Nuodeng and Nuoyan. Of course we were tired, but it was all worth it.

Chosed this place for our stay here in Dali and it is really close to Gucheng. The service was great and the room is clean. I really liked the heating pad or blanket for the bed. There’s breakfast and afternoon tea provided for free. People here are really nice and the boss invited us for bbq at night. There’s also a really cute cat called Tangbao. She’s soooo cute and you can play with her in the bar. I will come back next time~~~

I stayed at the Yunji No.1 Cliff Seaview Hotel in Haidong Town, Dali, for one night with my parents. The hotel has stunning Santorini-style architecture, and we could see the beautiful Erhai Lake from our room. The hotel is very artistic, and most of the decorations are related to the theme of jade or emerald. The most impressive thing for me was the largest natural night pearl in the world, which was displayed in the hotel’s restaurant. It was so amazing to see it glowing in the dark. The hotel’s butler Whisky(Miss Wei) was a lovely, gentle, and beautiful lady. She contacted me before our arrival, hand-wrote and drew our welcome cards and illustrations. She also arranged extra beds and breakfasts for us, considering that we were traveling with our parents. I think she was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay, and she made our experience so wonderful. The hotel is also close to some attractions, such as the Three Pagodas and the Butterfly Spring. We enjoyed exploring the local culture and nature. We had a great time at the Yunji, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Dali. It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

Stayed here for 2 nights as 2nd part of our Yunnan trip. Superb location as it was just walking distance to Da Li Ancient Town. The owners are super friendly and nice, making sure we are well taken care of during our stay and that we layer up when the weather gets cold whenever we are going out. They even recommend places and things to buy and not to buy, the reasonable prices etc, which we feel was a very nice touch as we often get targeted to pay a tourist rate as we do not know the market. When we checked out, they even gave us some sourvenir to bring back and remember about Da Li. They have an adorable Corgi too. We truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return when we come back next time!
