Drovers Motor Inn

We stayed here for a one night stopover on a recent family holiday to Hervey Bay from Moree with our three little boys aged 5,3 and 2. I rang and booked the room while on the road and Trish and John were so accommodating, even finding us a room on the bottom floor so we didn’t have to take luggage up the stairs. The first thing we noticed upon entering the room was how clean it smelt and looked. While retrieving a toy car from under one of the beds I even took note that under the beds had been vacuumed which even though you would assume this be standard practice, I have found that not every highway motel goes to that length so massive kudos to the housekeeping team! Trish and John gave us lots of wonderful recommendations for food in the area and the next day after we checked out and I absent mindedly left my jumper in the room, Trish rang to let me know they had found it and put it behind the counter so I could pick it up on my through on the trip home. Trish and John were so warm and welcoming and helpful that we chose to stay there again for our return trip and both nights we stayed there were the best sleep ins our children have ever had collectively. So needless to stay, this will be our choice for our halfway stopover on our next trip to Sunny Hervey Bay. Thanks Trish and John for your hospitality!

Perfect stay, great rooms with every convenience. Very clean spacious rooms, the room had a very pleasant smell and was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend. And would not hesitate to stay again if in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.

First time staying here. Would highly recommend this to travellers. The rooms are very spacious & very well equipped. The bathroom was great, clean & tidy. It’s close to town & hotels to eat at. The owners & staff are very friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again that’s for sure, it’s very luxurious

we usually love staying here, but last night we booked a room as we were flooded in and couldn’t get home. the new manager, Cathy, was so rude , kept saying “whatever” and made it seem like an issue we chose to book a room instead of driving home (through flood water). i don’t think we will be going back if cathy is permanently there. the old managers were lovely.

Likely the best stay I’ve had in Australia!
