2-Star Hotels in Dalat

We‘ve booked the Tulip Hotel Da Lat because of its central location next to the night market and because of the large balcony. Both of it was as expected and the double room is relatively large and clean. The hotel currently offers no breakfast but there is a nice bakery on the opposite side of the street. So my rating could be a 4* rating … but: During checking, the receptionist took our passports because she had to fill some forms (ok). We were told, that we could retrieve them one hour later. After one hour we were told that they would return only one passport, and that they know, how important passports are for us. No other comments given. Next day, next try: another receptionist told us, that this is „company policy“ (although the room was fully paid upfront - and they had my credit card data)! They would return the passport after checkout. Dear management, if you read this: it is totally unacceptable! I had never taken my passport from me on any hotel I have stayed, anywhere! Have you ever been in a foreign country without any means to identify yourself? I guess, not. If I had known that „policy“ before, I would have booked another hotel

Perhaps it was down to our room choice or allocation, not sure, but all I would say is noise noise noise! I appreciate that this is due to guests rather than the hotel itself, but the staff did not seem to notice or do anything to limit the noise from guests especially early in the morning or late at night. We booked the cheapest room with no window or built in air conditioning (although there was a fan, not that we needed it) and got a room on the ground floor, not far from reception. To be fair the room was nice, looked fairly new, although the bed was extremely extremely firm (much to my husbands disliking). The bathroom was grand although it took sometime for the water to heat up and with no shower screen everything gets soaked. It's in a good spot about 10 mins walk to the lake and about 15 mins walk to the night market. It's got plenty of eateries near, just a shame about the noise. The receptionist was able to organise a taxi to Dalat airport after ours fell through at very short notice, thank you. If you choose to stay I would suggest requesting a room on the top floor, otherwise look for alternative accommodation as you are unlikely to get a good nights sleep.

Stayed at this hotel last Monday, the service was good, the receptionists were enthusiastic and supportive. My family is very satisfied with the hotel's location in the city center. Da Lat, near the night market. Luxurious space with a bit of classic and sophistication, worthy of being my family's next destination

This is a small hotel, just 3 small rooms on the floor. Very clean, there is an elevator, a refrigerator in the room. In the shower everything is. Bed good, comfortable, teapot, water, tea, coffee. Very good lighting in the room, which is rare. Breakfasts on terrace 7 floor, all delicious. Welcome staff, caring hostess, thank you to her. On the opposite of the hotel is an inexpensive restaurant and bakery, near the market, near Lake and BigC. In the evening on the weekend near the market, the traffic is closed - the night bazaar and the people's guilt. We ordered a car trip to all the main attractions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for 900kD, through the tour agencies because of the coronary virus such a trip could not be ordered. The palace of Emperor Bao Dai, the rope road, the Thien Vien Monastery, the waterfall, the pagoda of Lin Fuok, the statue of the great Buddha and the temple next to it. From the hotel down the street, the walls of the houses on it are painted by artists, necessarily walk. The room in which the common beds are in the basement. The hotel liked, I recommend. The shortage is cash payment in the hotel (by card additional %), which I forgot, as I booked through Agoda, where you usually pay at once.

We've just stayed at this hotel.. ( two hotels of same name..owned by same owners..) This is the newer version with a lift to all floors.. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the owner and family member, you just know you're going to relax during your stay here.. Rooms do vary in size and priced accordingly.. We paid for a larger room and we paid £26p/ night.. Rooms are basic in terms of wardrobes and furniture, but the room was very clean.. Onsuite shower room was a good size.. ( we had a shower over the bath ) There was a safe that uses bio metric recognition to close and open.. Brilliant idea.. Bed was very large and comfortable.. Some rooms do have twin beds in them.. On the 4th floor is a large jacuzzi.. Easily sit 6 adults comfortably.. Just ask the owner in the morning that you would like to use it later that day, and she'll prepare it ready for you.. Breakfast is a mix of plentiful amount of very fresh fruit.. Small baguettes.. Usual salad, and you can also enjoy bacon & eggs.. Just ask, and you will receive.. Tea/ coffee/ water is also available.. The table is laid out, and you take what you want.. Seriously, I can't fault Breakfast at all.. The hotel is less than a 10mins stroll from the centre of Dalat.. Slight incline to get there, but it's not that steep, in my opinion.. If you have difficulty walking or your mobility is hampered in any way, please consider that there are around a dozen wide steps to get up to the reception area.. If a wheelchair user then, this may not be suitable for your requirements in terms of getting in the bathroom area.. There are toilets by reception that have more favourable access, but just enquire more about it before making your mind up about staying here.. And one other thing.. The owner can organise a local man with a nice large vehicle to take you around the Dalat area.. We gave him a list of things we wanted to see during this particular trip to Dalat.. He charges 50 USD per day.. That's for him & car.. So if you have a few friends doing a trip together, that's not much per person.. And he picks you up at 9am and returns around 4.30pm.. Although we did finish one day at 6pm.. No extra charge.. And the hotel owner recieves nothing for asking him... He was absolutely great at his job.. ( please note..any attraction or business you decide to go too or see, that charges entrance fee, you must pay that cost..) He just sits and waits for you to take your time at any location and says, ”The next one is....” So you research where you wish to visit during your stay , write it down, and he works out the most effective way to see things to maximise your time.. Absolutely recommend his services if you need a driver/ car.. It was an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel for sure.. And we will definitely stay here again if we return to Dalat..

Location good, and street fairly quiet. Easy to walk almost everywhere or a Grab won’t cost more than £1-2 to most places. We arrived at 06:00am and had been told we would be able to leave our luggage whilst we went out for the day. When we arrived the hotel front was closed with a rolling shutter. A man soon arrived and opened up and we were lucky to have a room ready for us. No friendly welcome etc. and no real ‘service’ but it was fine for the purposes of our short visit to Dalat. The room was basic, which would ordinarily be fine, but it wasn’t particularly clean. Long black hairs on the bedroom floor and a few in the bed. Some old stains on the white bed linen. Feet were dirty after walking around barefoot for a short period. Two small water bottles, one of which was open and half drank. The shower was pretty useless. An old grubby shower head that didn’t work well, and a shower door that didn’t fit the gap meant that despite being very careful, the bathroom floor still was flooded with water. The lift wasn’t working during our stay. Thankfully we only had to climb 2 floors and are very capable, but it was 30° and there was no AC. Wouldn’t be ideal for all guests. Kindly stored our luggage after checkout and a much friendlier man was on the desk this time. Very chatty and helpful - shame not to have encountered him sooner. An OK stay for a cheap overnight in Dalat, if the cleanliness was improved it would make this a decent cheap spot.

I often have to go back to Dalat for work. Short or long business trips are often booked by the company's administrative staff, & often placed at hotels in the city center, near Da Lat market. At first, I still stayed in the habit, but then I felt a bit wasted, when I came to DL but stayed at a place not much different from Hanoi or SG - city hotels, without the unique features of DL. So I decided to find a hotel with its own nature but still ensure that it is not too far from the center (1 some beautiful, natural hotels/homestay but close to Tuyen Lam lake area, very far from the center - about 10km, suitable for relaxation, not suitable for business trips) & in the company budget of about 1 or less. Hoang Loc is really a right choice, making my business trips no longer boring and boring but a little more interesting. The space of the LDP-style grass garden is very cute and lovely. Hosts must be very interested in taking care of each plants and equipment. The staff is very enthusiastic and cute & especially everyone's name is Linh, very cute ^^ If you need breakfast, you can order separately. The menu is not too rich but it's a good choice if you want to experience the feeling of having breakfast in front of the green garden in the morning, feel something1Very Da Lat2

In the center of the villa, it is quite quiet at the beginning of the road there is a police station, so it is very reassuring to park the car on the road. I went with my girlfriend, so I chose the honeymoon setup package and was well prepared by the hotel from Da Lat red wine and super cute cakebox, romantic decorated room. The hotel has enough car rental services, BBQ, restaurant for guests, it's raining, so I can't eat outside, so I only experience a few meals at the hotel. Service is very ok, the male receptionists are quite attentive. Will come back if I come to Da Lat!!
