The view from the balcony was nice and I liked the family dinner, but that was it. The staff was really unfriendly. Upon arrival they immediately started making fun of other tours and started pushing to come on the hostel tour instead. The pushing attitude was not nice. Also they overbooked and put me in another type of room than I booked, without telling me or apologising. They made me pay the full amount for the room and I only saw later that I already paid a part with my card. They also cancelled my booking in hostelworld such that I couldn’t leave a review. Obviously it is a super cheap hostel, so I guess this is what you get for this money, but I really didn’t like the attitude and would’ve rather paid a little more for hostel with some more hospitality.

This homestay looks down on Vietnamese people. I am Vietnamese and am looked down upon by Vietnamese people in Vietnam. I booked a room a long time ago, but on the day of check-in, the hotel said they would not let me stay because they were afraid of disturbing Western guests because Western guests take a nap while Vietnamese wake up early. Meanwhile, the booked room is a dormitory room where we pay the same amount. Why is it like this? I'm worried somewhere. Ah, maybe we Vietnamese are lower than unemployed Western backpackers. Bonus: there is no parking space to quickly kick out guests.
